Btw that test wont serve any purpose since most phns are not water proof. Plus there is whole rating system for water resistance of phns.
It would be cool if he could though.
I think he probably doesn't do that because there are rating available for it and it's really hard to measure it in any scientific way and again most phones nowadays can withstand splashes. So, i think it's just too hard to test it and most major phones he test usually have a water resistance rating with the exception of maybe OP5T or the Razer phone. So, i don't really see a reason fro him to do a water test.

I was nervous because you didn't made a video jet about it and I had a feel that I made a bad decision. Thank God you prove that this phone is a beast! My wife has this phone and my son has been throwing it around everywhere for the past year and other than a few scratches it has no significant damage and is working perfectly.

Tech Addict Sony tried water resistance in the mid range devices, and they are heaters
If they gave water resistant they would have to remove headphones jack and add more stuff inside it so it would increase the price but also lose the jack. Low end phones don't normally have rater resistant anyways it's normally mid to high range phones if when u get water resistant especially in high end phones since basically no high end phones anymore have headphone jacks.

Dude, I've seen your reviews before but this one was quite entertaining!
I have sad news fellas. I finally managed to destroy my Nokia 5 :C. 8 months after I accidentally ran it over with my bike and surprisingly enough it got just a few cracks, one at the bottom part of the glass that went across the bottom corner and one that went parallel to the top portion of the screen. Both were very non-intrusive and everythig worked like a charm. Following accidents + the already weakened glass led to a small portion of the glass in th e upper right corner to fall-off leaving a hole that leads directly to the internals, no biggie back then. Until I went on a vacation to the beach and all the water that comes with it. Lucky me managed to slip on a rock and fall into the water, with my dinged-up Nokia 5 in my hand... sigh this marked the beginning of the end for my honourable 5. Few minutes after the submergion everything was fine, a drop got underneath the back camera glass and some water got into the sim and micro sd slots but everything worked, except when the screen started acting up and currently, after 2 days of drying the screen barely registers any accurate touches and a portion of it does not respond at all. but surprisingly I am able to take pictures and stuff with the shortcut buttons and view them too.
Oh and my audio jack got dinged up too for some reason, and now you have to find THAT spot where it finally gives you all it has got.
aaaAnd finally to draw my conclusion, Nokia 5 is HELLA DURABLE, like a lot, considering what it has went through with me. But I am hella clumsy and unfortunate... nothing can beat that.
I've also got one. This shit is a beast !!!
My phone is also Nokia 5 and its durability is amazing. I had it for almost a year now. This is the longest phone I had that didn't have a crack on the screen. 😂😂😂.

Not all thin phones bend. He has done Samsung s8 bend test and that one is thin and it passed the test

On the phones with a fingerprint scanner, can you load your fingerprint in first then scratch it to simulate everyday use, it will be interesting to see how they hold up this way, anyways thanks for the great videos. Of course its Harry Potter!!!

Good point that clear ceramics can be superior to normal hardened glass in terms of strength, impact resistance, scratch resistance etc. Any thoughts why more phone manufacturers have not made the body of the their phones out of hard strong ceramics instead of glass?

Why no premium smartphones sporting high end ceramics ?
