She's mad because Soren killed her husband. She is furious that her mate, the Lord High Tyto, was defeated by the same arrogant little Tyto who dared to defy her for an owlet of an inferiour species. She only sees him now as her sworn enemy even higher than Eyzelryb (Lyze of Keil). I'd say she is embarrassed about the fact that an owlet she deemed as "a fleck picker" managed to defeat Metal Beak. Kludd better get a LOT stronger before he encounters Nyra again. She might just aim for his throat before she lets him become the leader of the Pure Ones.
But how funny that she knew Kludd was lying. “You mustn’t mistake praise for license. Never lie to me.” She automatically was aware Soren had potential, possibly more than Kludd - but what he lacked was “self nobility” because he cared for & defended Gylfie. She was hoping that time as a picker would change his outlook & make him want to be of use to the pure ones.

When I was 9 years old, I asked my parents to see this movie in theater. During in the movie, my dad told me this movie isn’t good for children including me. I asked him why and my dad said the movie is too dark and violent toward children. Now, I’m 21 years old. I go back to rewatched this movie. My dad is right. This movie wasn’t meant for children.
