For a 4cyl thats amazing power. I love Audi, i daily a ‘16 S4. Was considering a s6 but gas and just comfort is what i went with on the s4 but if i want a good fuel efficient midsize, gonna be the 4c a6

Yea for sure I like sedans way more too. But it's crazy I've been noticing this phenomenon more and more, the SUVs seem to be calibrated a bit better than the sedan counterparts. Like a new RAV4 feels quicker than a new Camry even though both share the same engine. I think they have an agenda of shoving these SUVs down our throats. If you drive a Q5 let me know what you think.
The new generation a6 is so nice looking but has such a terrible reliability. In the last month I saw 2 on the road that were being towed away because of malfunctions
So I like Volvos 4 cylinder because they do incorporate some more character like you hear turbo blow off noises a bit more. But yea it's decently smooth its up there with Audi and BMW not a bad choice. The more complex Volvos with both supercharged and turbos can cause issues but I'm assuming you're buying new cars with a warranty so not a big deal
I really love the way Audis look inside and out. But your review reminded me that they aren’t very engaging. I really want an s5 sportback but know that ultimately the Audi steering and front heavy feel will prevent me from truly enjoying it. I agree that bmw isn’t much better right now and like you said Mercedes interior quality is kind of lacking.
Most important things for me are rude quality and quietness. I don’t cornering and ha dealing and all that. So what rides the smoothest this the 5 series or the e clas (not with air suspension)?
all 3 ride great and are smooth its the character that distinguishes them and thats a little more difficult to explain. Audi feels the most relaxing if that makes sense

Paused on the spec sheet at 1:33 noticed the A6 Allroad and the S6 have their 0-60mph times swapped because there is no way the A6/A6 Allroad have the same specs, and the Allroad is faster. Also, the S6 can't be that slow. So many issues there. This car sheet wasn't made on a Monday or a Friday was it?
That's true for us younger guys but usually the demographic of human that can afford 60k plus cars is def the 50 and over crowd. People of that age wouldn't really appreciate the bouncy ride of an RS or the horrific fuel economy of a Twin Turbo 6 cylinder or 8 cylinder. Not to mention if they floored it in a car like that they would probably pass out due to the lack of blood loss in their skull so 🤷 idk
Yea but unlike most journalists I unfortunately have to pay for it. It's a cool job and I appreciate it. I mostly enjoy interacting with the audience because the filming and editing side of this job is certainly not fun. I'm typically up to 4 in the morning every night trying to get these videos out.
The car is great. Audi is a top luxury brand. But you can’t pay 60-70 thousand dollars for a car with a damn 4 cylinder engine. You have to get a real motor, a v6.

After around 2014 they all put an end to that. Too bad in my opinion. A c class or 3 series with good engines like those are the best package.

You must have gotten a lemon or did not care for it properly. Have a 2020 Q5 Prestige 52k on clock and a 2016 A6 Premium Plus with 89k on it and both have been spectacular for reliability. And will still be able to get 12-13 out of the A6 when it’s ready to goto a new home. I only reply to this comment as you are apart of the problem. Audis have came such a long way from the late 90s and early 00s with reliability and overall quality. They are a phenomenal company and investment. Would be 2 more tomorrow in a heart beat.
Actually with some of the models you can go back even 10 years and there's not a huge change. That's one of the good things about Audi you can pull up in an old one and people can't really tell the difference between the new ones. Mercedes on the other hand changes designs like crazy and you look embarrassing pulling up in the old ones
