Hey man, I recently started watching your vids and you've inspired me in my own Icarus builds. I just wanted to let you know that my new video (coming out in about 9 hrs as of this comment) credits you for inspiring my latest build. It's nowhere near as creative as you are though 😅. Keep up the great work!
Yes, relative to the same object height that you were last pointing to with your cursor. So if you were pointing at a floor, then adjusted the height, then anywhere you are pointing on that floor, your object freeplace would have the same height. However if you moved off the floor say to open ground, your object would only maintain same height relative to the variable ground height, which doesn’t help you. So in other words, it remembers the height relative to the height of whatever you were pointing at. If that makes sense?
@@icarus-firstcohort-basebui9026 Yes it does! so thats why you always build a 4x4 platform when you start building. now i get it! to have a relative height to you from the concrete floor instead of the uneven ground.
i tried free placing beams like you in concrete floors but they break instantly. i dont know what i am doing wrong.. i think its not clipping into the ground maybe?
there is something valuable in each of your videos and you give very good tips
Thanks Damian!

Nice work, I love your builds and your mods 👍
Thank you! 👍
How do you jump so high?
Right?! That must be one of his mods. And then again at 1:28 wtf was that animal sound lol
Really love this build but i do have 1 question, how are you flying up to the top of your beams and the roof at the end? lol
When you adjust the height of a beam and try to free place it somewhere else, does the game remember the last height of the beam?
