While Warriors trade rumors will continue to link Jarrett Allen to the Bay Area, it wouldn’t be easy for Steve Kerr and Mike Dunleavy Jr. to add the big man to the Warriors roster. However, Golden State’s rotation of big men, led by Draymond Green and Kevon Looney, desperately needs a boost to complement Stephen Curry in the backcourt.

I like Jarrett Allen, but no way is he worth that much.
Also, you can’t compare his offensive production to Klay Thompson’s. Even on a bad day, Klay’s range affects the game with his gravity.
Klays offense has been horrible
@@tjones8778 and yet he still attracts the attention of opposing defenses. Jarrett Allen is solid, but he’s not doing that.
Meanwhile, Klay averaged 18 PPG this season. Not his best, but far from “horrible.” The Warriors’ “secret sauce” throughout their entire dynasty has been the gravity from their backcourt. Any good big would capitalize off of their spacing, so they shouldn’t gut their roster for Allen. They could just keep developing TJD for all that.

Wiggs for Allen Straight up (I don't know how the salaries compare). Allen is not worth more than that. Wiggs is a better player, but the Dubs need big bodies. I would not trade any of the young guys for Allen or any non-superstar player. I wouldn't give up any picks either. What CLE ask for, and what CLE gets (in trading for TJD) are two different things. Trading TJD would be a no go for me. I am not trading any of the young Warriors.

Allen is 6'9" he plays big but can be muscle d by the bigger, taller, heavier centers.
On Basketball Ref he's listed as 6-11 and 243 lbs. I really like him for the Dubs and hope we can get him in a straight swap for Wiggs or maybe even by offloading Loon's salary along with some picks. TJD needs to stay (along with all 4 Rooks) and could start but coming off the bench with less pressure gives him time to develop further while allowing Dray to focus on being the 4.
He is 6'9" but I agree, he would be good for the Warriors.

Warriors need a stretch 5 that Can play next to Trace.. You can have a big line up of Dray Kuminga Trace Steph and That Stretch 5.. That would give them a big line up with spacing. Warriors need spacing big man next to Draymond

I believe Jarrett Allen is thinking about his future by declining to get injected with pain killers. He may be thinking that his injury could get worse and may sideline him for the next season. He's also one of my favorites defensive/rebounder center for the Warriors. I wish they would get him next season just don't include TJD on the trade, put Moody instead 😊
