not sure Amarth pitt is the most respectable pitt I ever moshed in Ive never hit the ground always someone picks me up.
Amon Amarth and Goatwhore was my first time in a pit. 16 year old me fell multiple times and just kept going because I felt that safe in the pit. It was one of those pits that had just the perfect amount of space for the amount of people in it and everyone seemed to know the music well enough to know when to put in full energy or hold back. If I wanted out, I was let out quickly. I couldn't describe to you the sense of brotherhood well enough.

Im a huge fan of their mid era albums, some of my favorite metal albums of all time. Ive listened to those albums countless times at the gym. Joms is pretty great too. I'm hoping the rest of the album is better because this song is a 5/10 at best. *Amon Amarth has always been about the epic/melancholic MELODIES and the savage galloping DRUMS... but that's not what I'm getting from their latest albums, or this song.* This sounds more like metalcore to me. Thousand Years of Opression, Under The North Star, With Oden On Our Side, Varyags, Victorious March... NOW THOSE ARE SOME DAMN GOOD AMON AMARTH SONGS. I can't be the only one here with this sentiment
I also hear Amon Amarth at the gym and my favorites are: Twilight of the Thundergod, Deceiver of the Gods and Death in Fire. The songs need to be aggressive from the start until the end. The songs you listed are a bit too soft in my opinion.
