I'm an aspiring breeder and I have been soaking up every bit of info that I can. ALL your videos have helped me in every aspect of this process and your advice is so practical. I love the fact that you are willing to share your knowledge and encourage others to do the same. I started watching all your videos and it was so obvious to me that you really care about your animals, your customers and the industry. I listened to your advice from another video and saved my money until I had the cash so that I could purchase one of your beautiful animals! And like you said in this video, one of the main reasons I wanted to buy from you is because I know if I have any questions going forward you'll take the time to help. Sorry for the book here but, just wanted to share my two cents and say thank you!
I really appreciate that Jennifer! And you already know that if there are any problems, concerns, or questions, I want to know so I can make it right! Looking forward to you getting you boa on Tuesday!
This is a great and important video, and I appreciate your humility in sharing your experiences so openly to educate us. All are outstanding points, but the retention bullet really hits home for me. I recently inquired on morph about some Boas on my higher price end. Several sellers really turned me off by not responding, or not keeping their word, or pushing the sale so hard you can see they cared more about that than the animal. The ones I purchased were from folks who had the best communication. That is all it takes to make or break a sale sometimes. Keep up the great work, and try not to let envy deter you.
It’s a delicate balance. I try to be as responsive as I can and give people all the information the need and may ask for, but sometimes it’s just not the right time or animal for that person. I’d rather someone walk away from what I have if it’s not the right time or animal.
@@JasonsExoticReptiles I definitely agree with that, because ultimately it is about the wellbeing of the animal going to the right and responsible home. A lot with breeding, buying and selling is about 'feel'. If it doesn't feel right, then it probably isn't.
Glad to help out! It’s a lot of work but really rewarding! You will definitely like one of the videos that I filmed today. Not sure when it’s going to drop but definitely in the next month b
Great video and advice i just started with breeding boa's and hope to be successful and expand in the future, i indeed noticed that its important to research the market , but also make youre own plan and believe in it. Great videos man love it, hope to purchase one of your boa baby's one day but getting it over shipped will be a ? We will see
Having MorphMarket is great but you have to build a following and reputation. You have to work hard to build a reputation. I strive to be as successful as you in the future. Thank you again for all the information that you have provided to us over the years.
Such great advice! Im currently working on building my brand, being active on SM, creating a website, and growing up my snakes. Hopefully im on the right track. ❤
Consistency is what will make the difference. I’m trying very hard to make sure my consistency and detail are exponentially increased. I’m incredibly motivated this year to hit big goals and consistency is one thing that I know will become the largest struggle over time.
I’ll see what I can do! We go over this stuff in my patron community chats, but it might be too complicated and multifaceted to make into a RUclips video.
@ I’m personally having a hard time determining a “starting point” or the first step in the market research path. I know that morph market is good place to get an idea of the market nationally but finding data on the local market is where I’m getting stuck
All good points. If I ever start breeding, I'll refer back to this one. Jason's Recipe for Success lol. In all seriousness though, good tips for a new breeder.
It really depends on the effort you put into marketing. Either sell well if you don’t put in the effort and both sell great if you do put the effort in.
Great advice 🍜🤘🏾
Thank you!!

As long as you keep consistent you will do great!

I would love to see a video on the best tips to research the market.

Haha. I’m going to start a cook book. Thank you
Well said.
Thank you!
Question. Do you think burms or dumeril boa sell better in interested in breeding both just trying to figure what avenue to go down
It really depends on the effort you put into marketing. Either sell well if you don’t put in the effort and both sell great if you do put the effort in.
