This movie triggered something in me lol. Imagine if this is actually what happens in real life. People who are miserable get a second chance but live with people who went the same struggles and feelings. You're with people who knows what exactly you went through even without knowing each other personally.
Ayyyyy!!! Randomly remembered this movie from back when Netflix had a dvd mailing system. I rented it through the mail and never sent it back cause of how impactful it was for me to see it in my formative years of high school. Really good story and message. Hope ya doing well prof!
This movie its actually amazing, I remember watched in sy fy back in 2010-2011 when I was a kid and damn it stuck with for a while "Life sucks - but so does death" such a nailed quote for the movie
First time i saw this move was in 2008. I was an employee at Yosemite National Park, i lived in Boystown employee housing (Now defunct) in my tent cabin. I own this movie a rewatch.
The one quote from this movie thats stuck with me over the years is the “oh were in hell. This is hell? Yeah its pretty much normal except everything is just a little shittier.” Story of my purgatory life.
it's crazy, I remember reading the graphic novel adaption about a year ago. I found this movie randomly and threw it on without knowing the plot. as soon as i heard his intro monologue about kamekaze pizza i was shocked. I remember loving the graphic novel so much!! This will be a comfort movie for me for the rest of my life lol.
When I was referred to this regarding a conversation I had with a friend, I thought she was joking but the jokes on me because I was terrified to find out this was actually a real thing. I'm convinced this universe where Wristcutters takes place is basically a rendering of where I am at now (well, all of us who are here). It's just a really twisted version of Earth (and we all know that place was not that great to begin with...). I don't think I like this very much at all...
My favorite movie ever. I just started a subreddit r/wristcutterslovestory for anyone who wants to discuss, share fan art, geek out, etc. over the movie
Love the quote "this is one you haven't seen before". It looks like an oddball love story and it's exactly the fucking same as we've seen before like a million times, boy meets girl blah blah blah.

I have not seen this movie yet, but I was looking for Patrick Fugit movies. I’ve loved him since I saw him and almost famous. I need to see everything he’s done. 🩷❤️💖
One of those movies that stays with you long after its viewing.

It does not in a negative way though. And don't ask me to prove it.
This is the secret film I watch once every 2 years. Lol I can't share it with anyone because they might think I'm depressed haha

I came here after watching Soul. First movie that crossed my mind after Soul is this one.
Shannyn Sossamon - the loveliest, all natural actress of her generation.
Definitely a hidden gem
They should have used the slogan "Life sucks - but so does death"
Through the roof, underground

Magical cinema.

Recommended this to a youngster today, stuck with me
My number 1 movie of all time, next is lo and then the holy mountain.
I love this movie
2007 was a great year for film festival in Stockholm.
Thank you. She’s beautiful
Shannon Sossamons look and demeanor scream early 2000s for me
imo, in 2007 Shannyn Sossamon was the most beautiful woman in the world, and even to this day, she's stunning.
they just don't make films like this anymore anymore
gonna watch it hope makes me feel better
Back at the end of the “Last Golden Era” of films, from the mid-90s to the early 2000’s. Movies are trash now, and it’s so damn sad.
am I the only one who thinks Patrick Fugit looks alike Evan Peters?
Yes
@@Kat-I-am3333 yes you think the same or you don’t think so ahha ?

I think because the entire premise of the movie's based on "suicide".
Ah the 2000s, when they made movies for emos.
