After listening to To Pimp a Butterfly, i regarded Kendrick as the greatest writer in Music history and i set the bar for him that high. Even though i felt that he lowered the bar on DAMN, it was still great to a certain extent. I had to wait 5 years to hear this man drop obviously expecting something incredible but the Heart Part 5 was corny & predictable. I’m annoyed that he took the safest route by doing something that he knows people are emotional about. Kobe and Nipsey died years and this man finds it suiting to only pay his tribute now just to promote his album, why wasn’t this shit dropped days after they died!? Now i am expecting to hear this man rap about Covid, George Floyd and Black Lives Matter 😴😴. everyone is gonna claim, “Oh its so deep and touching” because 90% of you can’t even think yourself, You run with whatever popular narrative the Internet is pushing. Kendrick needs to go outside and find some motivation, Stop hiding like you are Bin Laden on the run, To Pimp A butterfly was great because of his trip to South Africa 🇿🇦. i have now lowered my expectations for this album.

This man is the best there is no comparison right now, to come back after that hiatus and drop this randomly and get this much hype on a conscious rap song is wild to me. The fact that Kendrick thrives in this materialistic culture while being truly intelligent and mindful with his words is astonishing. I hope this inspires Drake, Cole, and Ye and I hope we see appearances from one of them possibly on the album. He is what Blackness should be, embracing your history and your difference while still exemplifying the beauty, knowledge, and power that we hold. That should be the culture, not what has been pushed on to us.

Then he makes it upbeat and dances happily to lyrics that are so upsetting, but only people that listen to the lyrics will understand, while the others can't bump it in the club so their going say call it trash. Again..THE CULTURE...then he talks from Nipseys point of view of how you could take his death and learn from it, make positive adjustments for the culture 💯🐐❤️‍🔥
