This is one of the best albums in years easily. It may not seem that way cause the internet is interneting and hates on 90% of the albums that have recently dropped within Hip Hop which is why music itself and artist aren’t progressing that much. Kendrick’s album got that timeless and classic feel with a great concept. It takes 5 years to make a project like that but it takes 5 brain cells and 5 seconds to reduce it to just “mid” or “trash”
I am just listening to Kendrick whole album. Just not for me(Everybody has an opinion RELAX!)..a couple songs good. Everybody has their fav MC. I like Ken.very uplifting music..
Its nice to hear Joe Budden giving Kendrick the flowers! So well deserved! Some earlier beefs he had i think thats been petty..but this is on point..Cheers. Always respected Joe as an artist as well..I wish he still made music.
Joe is saying what real ones know and it feels disrespectful to the English language to even argue otherwise in my opinion. And I’m not even a Kendrick diehard.
Ish is…. He is too old to be so simple minded. It’s odd that someone at his age enjoys feeding off of things that don’t challenge him. He has proven that his gripe with Kendrick is that he makes you think and says things that challenge/forces the listener to reflect. I also think that he’s bothered that someone like Kendrick is even in the conversation next to his fav.
Ish is completely out of his mind, and addressing what Ice said: Joyner would NOT be able to pen a verse with the nuance and grace in that Kendrick portrayed. Most of his perspective shit has been gimmicky. Even I’m not a racist was not very graceful, even though it was great.
Nah dawg.. Maybe his latest work yes but if you look at Joyner earlier work then all that nuance and grace he had all of it.. He just overplayed his hand.. Listen to the song "Sorry".. Don't shit on another man to praise K. Dot
@@cageyflow5773 I love that song, I’ve listened to a lot of his earlier work. Even Ross Capicchioni is dope. But those songs are what they are about. Funny coming back watching this after the Drake/Kendrick dust up. Ish glazes Drake and his music pod in and pod out but says anything Kendrick gets praised for is "gassed" 🤣
The Heart Pt 5 isn’t supposed to be like the rest of The Hearts. The album took a different turn and has a different retrospective.

Hearing some people talk about music is insufferable
This is one of the best albums in years easily. It may not seem that way cause the internet is interneting and hates on 90% of the albums that have recently dropped within Hip Hop which is why music itself and artist aren’t progressing that much. Kendrick’s album got that timeless and classic feel with a great concept. It takes 5 years to make a project like that but it takes 5 brain cells and 5 seconds to reduce it to just “mid” or “trash”
I haven’t heard this is mid at all, saying it’s his best album is a drag tho
Alot of you people are saying that because you're LGBT and Kendrick Lamar fan base is now all LGBT now.

Ish the type of dude to read comments sections then go the opposite direction......and stand on it.
Ish and Ice trying way too hard to be controversial 😂

The Heart Pt V has a much deeper message about the cycle of violence and hyper masculinity that STILL and probably ALWAYS will plague the black community heavily. I’m not down playing anything Joyner does, I’m just saying it’s levels 🤷🏾♂️. Just like Kendrick couldn’t pull off what Elzhi did with Guessing Game or Colors.
Joyner couldnt rap from nipsey perspective because he wasnt nipsey homie
Joyner entire shit is gimmicky and like SURFACE level elementary school shit. Like that first racist video.
IT WAS ELEMENTARY concept. Lol surface level as hell. " I'm not racist. "
JOE KNEW
There are a lot of “woke/conscious” rappers that are good but there is only ONE Kendrick Lamar. There a reason why he is highly respected but it’s not just rapping, he is a true artist. You can tell he has a true passion music, poetry, art & expression even the way he uses his voice & tone. His music is unique for a reason. Imagine someone stealing a rhyme book from Kendrick & even with the same exact verse the sound/expression would not be the same
I will take Lupe all day over kendrick when it comes to conscious bars.
@@ihateflatbunz it's ok if you like Lupe more, that still doesn't take away from the greatness of Kendrick lol
@Justin DeGruy Sir I would never try to take away nothing from Kendrick he's not the only one making good woke or conscious music.
@@ihateflatbunz I'm aware that he's not the only one sir, I love Lupe too... I also like Jay Electronica, Ab-Soul, J. Cole, Elzhi, Phonte, Common, Black Thought & Blackstar so it's obvious he's not the only one doing that style of music but we not talking about these other rappers artistry right now, we're talking about Kendrick's artistry. That's why I always find it funny when someone talks about the greatness of one artist and then somebody else pops up and say "I like this other artist better" when nobody mentioned that artist in the first place lol it just comes off like your slighting the original artist trying to take away his/her shine just to big up another artist (not saying that's your intention or anything but that's how it can be perceived). 🤷🏾♂️
The Argentina line...he was at Lollapalooza Argentina when he learned of Nipsey's passing.

I struggle with his flow tbh
But rap is spoken word 🤦🏾♂️
That’s what makes his flow so crazy to me
It’s not hard to see how good his flow is. People just use to hearing other rappers rap the same on every track.

Ish & Ice have some horrendous hip hop takes. They can not like smthn, but their "analysis" is hella surface level and based on statements with zero nuance like "this was trash", "this was not fly", "this wasn't better than the other Hearts", etc. Only one who at least tries to analyze and go deeper into the music is Joe.
That’s really the problem with their takes. They don’t have any good reason to back that up.
Joe hit the nail on the head...it's a masterpiece!! 🔥
JOE BUDDEN IS SPEAKING GODLY FACTS. Its easily recognized. Plus, Marvin Gaye's I want you is a classic and will never not be a bop. This is indeed a masterpiece. - YA
i'm not what U would call 1 the biggest Kendrick fans/stans who claim he's theGOAT but i've always appreciated & respected his work, he's a true Emcee, student of theCraft & a real Artist who expresses hisself flawlessly, this new Album..Mr.Morale...was shockingly unexpected in the greatest way possible, it's obviously not digestable to alot of people who feed their ears/minds with mostly low-vibrational music, what Kendrick gave us is more than Music & it takes a certain level of creative thinking to appreciate & overstand the understanding of Kendrick on this level of consciousness
Well now the unofficial heart part 6 is the worst
To call The Heart Part 5 trash or mediocre makes me immediately discredit the rest of your opinion. We clearly have a different view on what’s good music or not.

I think Joe has some inside perspective on what it means to make music for a wide variety of people, where as Ice and Ish do NOT. They're judging it as CONSUMERS of hip hop, wich is fine. But Joe is judging the WORK that went into CREATING the art. Joe knows what it's like to sit down with a pen, a pad, and a beat, and have a masterpeice come out of the other end. Ice and Ish only know the lyrics to their favorite songs lol. No shade, I fw them both... But they dead wrong here
