I met a girl on livejournal in an alexisonfire message board when I was 14. She lived in Brampton while I lived in Chicago and she was completely obsessed by this band. Shortly after meeting her I also became obsessed with moneen. "The theory of harmonoal value" and "are we really happy" helped me get through some of hardest times I ever had to endure. These guys were my LIFE in highschool. Saw them live a few times and was always blown away by their energy. I was a fucking depressed teenager and these guys, as well as Alexisonfire legit kept me alive through those years.
Followed these guys since the beginning and they are still my favourite band! Doesn't matter how many times I see them or they are plying with, they always put on THE best show! High energy, great spirits! Moneen will never not be on my life playlist!
I remember watching Moneen live and buddy hung upside down from a pipe on the roof and still was playing and singing. It was fucking amazing. Then he dropped down and nailed me in head with his guitar lol.
