I respect the commitment to "See a Peball, take a Peball" and resisting the temptation of the Orbelisk.
But... but... the orbelisk is the only reason to run a peball only deck! 🙀 I was so sad when he didn't take both it and the peball.
Edit: Twice! He even lost a peball avoiding the core ball of the peball build a few seconds later! 😱

Orbelisk is one of my favourite OG builds, with pebballs and bouldorbs to boost them. Use to be easier to run when those events and balls were more common.
But he already failed the challenge by taking the squirrel hood, which creates a non-peball ball.
This build is so painful to watch. I love Tom, and I love this game, but watching Tom buying every single pebball instead of upgrading what he has is extremely painful. I’d rather slam my dick in a sliding glass door for 30 minutes than watch this run.
Edit: …the entire point of the pebball build is the orbelisk. And Tom just ignores it… TWICE! Just… I… my brain hurts.
Watch this video if you love Tom, but absolutely do not watch it for tips and tricks. About every choice of relic and balls was wrong.
Imagine getting the Hero's Backpack relic with this... +1/+2 for every connected orb of the same type...

I was praying he would see this the whole time. Literally did a run last night where my first pebball was a 36 cirt (forgot the power)
It would have become a thing of beauty.
I had a similar peball-suffer the sling-hero's backpack run, but a had like a third the number peballs Tom had. Turning the weakest orb into the strongest is fun.
He finally did it.. we thought he didn't have the pebballs for it but he did, the mad man has a heart of stone... and i'm 'hear' for it!
Your use of wordplay and tease at the title there absolutely _rocks._ One might say it's _two_ good!
Much respect to Peball only. To the point of even ignoring the Orbelisk 😂
4:43 Tom talks about needing to heal up before he reaches the boss, then passes up the Popping Corn, which would probably have healed him to full by the time he got to the boss. I like the Heavy Shaft Potion too, but I'd say the Popping Corn is one of the best relics in the entire game.
He talked about getting the basic blade and ended up with the axe that negates resistances. Ol Tom was not on the pebball today
To be fair to Tom, with the amount of crits he had, Heavy shaft made a lot of sense. Having lots refreshes synergizes with a lot of relics or is even
great by its self

You can use the forge in the event multiple times, so he could have upgraded all pebballs to full with some health

Remember when the game was still in early release and a 7/13 orb was considered a lot.
Not gonna lie, kinda sad we didn't get to see Orbalisk loving up to its true potential.
It's a shame Tom didn't get the relic that gives orbs a damage boost based on the amount of same orbs that are in your deck and connected together when you draw them. Obviously didn't need it this time, but that would've catapulted the damage superhigh!
Yeah, the hero's backpack would have been amazing. Especially if he got the crow and trick the rocks events too, for more pebballs.
I kept hoping for that just to suddenly make the build EXTRA bonkers like often happens in these.
I'm upset it never offered him the hero's backpack, We would have seen some crazy numbers with that I'm sure

I think it's an honest mistake. "aloud" in place of "allowed" appears to be a common mistake among native English speakers, possibly even more so with dyslexia.
I think it's an intentional misspelling, riffing on pebball being a misspelling of "pebble"

I'd love to see this with rocks only so he could get bouldorb and orbelisk, perhaps another time
I did an all pebble with a few bouldorbs mixed in, the build becomes game breaking if you can get the events which duplicates all orbs, upgrades all, and converts them all into Orbeliks. From experience one of the most powerful builds. You won't be having any clever reload builds but still very fun nonetheless

I've done the all Pebball run twice... but never without an Overwhammer or Spear for pierce. I salute you.

Aside from the obvious hero's backpack tech, something that would have been stealth good in this build would have been the necklace that boosts healing by number of orbs in the deck

In the spider stages, I usually hard target the spiders until the other enemies start getting closer. The spiders only hit for one damage, but they attack every turn and add momentum-killing slime to pegs, and the death-by-a-thousand-cuts really sucks.

I didn't think you could do this without that one relic that gives you a bonus for the same type of orb in a row. That would have made the build crazy. But it worked anyway.
Diluted the purity of the peball sack right before completion. Damn.
Did something similar recently with an all pebball build even had a few events that gave 3 pebballs, but got the hero's backpack relic- +1/+2 for each connected orb of the same type... Just blew everything away!

I did a refresh build last night that was pretty great with just a refreshorb, then the artifacts to change pegs into bombs on refresh, and allowed bombs to refresh, and by the end of the Cave, my dude was just vomiting a stream of bombs at the boss, and it was toast in 3 shots.
Talk about a twist ending, hit me like a pebball to the dome! Thankfully, not a crit.
The whole point of a pebble run is to use orbalisk. But Tom is too good for that! lol TY for the video. =D

This is really just a testament to how easy the game is when you don't play on cruciball. I think you should at least play on cruciball 5, so you lose a crit. That way you can have the option to do murcicle builds by deleting the last crit with the pendant.
The one thing that would have made this deck pop would have been the backpack. +1/+2 for each following or that is the same as the current. Meaning, +10/+20
All Pebble Deck, was kinda expecting at least one Orbelisk, but no, the run is almost pure 🪞

I personally would have said Orbelisk level 1 is completely fair for this deck, as it works purely from pebbles

So early there’s a typo in the title
I would have been ok with the BouldOrb and the Orbelisk
skipping the Orbalisk at the end killed me. It gains power for each pebble you fool.

Tom use the forge if you have a build, never seen you do the just upgrade an orb before.
There's an event which converts all pebballs into orbelisks of the same level, and honestly that's the only sensible end-game of a pebball build

Oh hell ye, the promised Pebble Run :D, almost perfect, and perfectly goofy :D
I would say perfect, especially with the use of the Multiball Machine for even more pebbles, but sadly I don't Squirrels count as pebbles.
I tell you, Pebble Run may be clutch for the first Boss, but by the third you plough through XD
I still don't know how Tom gets 2x speed. That does not seem to be an option to me.
This video matches my current out look on life atm. 1/10 would still recommend.
