This is a personal story that I wanted to share. When I was 11, my mom had surgery for a collective of health problems that she had been having. At this time I was under a lot of stress because my home life wasn’t very peaceful, my dad was always angry at my mom for being sick, and would say that she complains too much, or that she was being weak because she didn’t have enough faith in God. Because my dad was so unwilling to help, I took everything in my own hands. I cooked for our family, I cleaned because I knew how much my mom loved a clean house, I brought her medication, I prayed with her, I did whatever felt necessary. I had an older brother but at that time, but he was in college, and I constantly felt like I had to make sure that nothing fell apart. A couple weeks after her surgery, my mom had some complications. One night, she had heart palpitations, her blood pressure had skyrocketed. That night, she was convinced that she would die. It was an incredibly stressful night, we had to take her to the ER. I couldn’t stay at the hospital because I had school the next day. But my dad was incredibly angry, and I remember him talking badly about her to me, saying how she was such a hypochondriac. I actually started to resent my mom a little bit, wishing that she could be “stronger”. For a while, I was angry at both of my parents. I was angry at my mom because I started to believe the things my dad said about her. I still took care of her, but deep in my hear there was anger. I held a lot of resentment toward my dad because it felt like everything fell on me whenever my mom wasn’t okay, and because of the way he treated her. The summer my mom was sick was when I had to grow up in a way that I wasn’t ready for. As I have gotten older, I realized that not everyone knows how to be strong for others. It takes incredible strength to take care of someone at their weakest, especially a loved one. Seeing you, your mom, and your dad all working collectively for the health of your mom made kind of sad because I never experienced that. But it makes me happy to see that kind of love. I hope that the family that I create will share that kind of love.

It’s sad to see things like this happen when my entire life’s felt almost perfect, there’s been mishaps and things, but nothing like this. It takes a lot to be as brave as you and for that I respect you a lot. Thank you so much for sharing!
Hey please don't change your videos or let people dictate how you should do your videos. I love this videos where you tell your stories and life lessons about your life. I've watched the videos about your dog, other videos about your mom and dad, and the girls like me videos and they are so interesting! I ended up watching like five of your videos in one night. You are truly an outstanding guy being there for your mom and helping her improve. It's very rare nowadays to see adult children care for their parents in their old age. You are truly a blessing to your family.
Not all videos can be uplifting and positive all the time because life is not - your videos are great. Your mom is really lucky to have you. Seeing you guys exercise you can tell she is putting effort into the process too. You're a good son man!

I truly appreciate because to me it’s entertaining and I always get a good lesson and it makes me appreciate life more. Thank you and please stay true to you
As a Taiwanese son, I had to take care of my late father during his last days due to liver cancer. Even though parents don't always express their gratitude verbally in the same way as North American parents do (I'm Canadian), I'm sure they (including your dad) are very appreciative, and are proud of you. Good luck to you man.

I really enjoy watching your content because your documenting the human experience. It's not just youtube garbage. You are actually touching people's lives and I literally started crying thinking about my own experience and how it relates to you and knowing someone understands means a lot.
So, its funny people have been leaving those comments, I actually feel the opposite. I’ve been enjoying the recent videos. It’s been a *rough* 12 months for everyone and I think your videos have been good, and are a nice alternative to other news and stuff going on. And in all honesty the recent topics you’ve talked about helps us (me) be thankful for our health and what we do have. Would it be cool to see an old-school video with you and Hahn Champion, sure. But this platform is to talk about whatever you want and I been enjoying what you’ve been putting out.
This is so beautiful to watch. A grown man taking care of his own mom. For all the so called men out there, try doing what he does... Thank you for sharing your journey. This is truly inspirational 👏
Dude you have no idea how much that means to her. I lost my mom at 8 to cancer and as I watched her slowly fade the only thing she cared about was spending time with us. You are one hell of a man for sticking around as long as you have and I hope you can find your peace with this one day.
I have been watching your videos and the love you have for your mother is bringing me to tears. It absolutely warms my heart. God will bless you so much. She is indeed so very lucky to have you. I pray for healing during this difficult time with your mother and family. God bless.
I’m crying because I’m caring for my Grandmother she’s bed bound, God really put you on this earth for a reason what a good son you are to her . God bless you brother 🙏🏻😇
I honestly am so glad you're able to tell us these stories Frank. Thank you so much for letting us know. I've learned a lot from your old videos and continue to learn from your new ones too. Don't ever change please.
What a great message! I do live my life day to day and like you I celebrate and rejoice in the small progress my disabled son makes... whether it be as simple as picking up a cup and being able to independently drink from it and to simple words as “No” because he is non verbal... Thanks for sharing your story!! 💕
When the people criticizing these videos for being too negative enter into similar circumstances, they'll be thanking almighty God they sat through these videos. Your videos serve different functions and answer very difficult questions. Your courage is admirable and virtuous. God bless you.
The first thing I said when your mum did not require the hospice anymore was 'alhamdullilah' which means praise to be god. Heaven lies under the feet of your mother and I wanted to just say just watching those short clips of you taking care of your mother is somthing so beautiful that I dont even have the words to describe it. Chin up and keep posting what your doing (if you want to) theres a huge lesson to be learned in your videos and as someone that is from a younger lost generation it is a good reminder of what we should really look up to.
Thank you for sharing those beautiful moments of you feeding your mum...as she was there for you when you were younger, now you have the gift of giving back....I envy you! God bless you and your times together.
This is my first time seeing any videos regarding your channel. From what I saw you are sharing more than just the disease process that is dementia but the REAL challenges of a caregiver for a loved one. Thank you for sharing your journey with others who maybe going through similar trials and tribulations.
I’m still hella young and probably haven’t seen anything in life that I would call “difficult”. But I’m so scared for my parents as they too, continue to grow. My biggest fear is finding out that they could have any sort of cancer or dementia or even Alzheimer’s. Very brave of you to share your journey and your mom’s too. Stay strong❤️ 💪🏼
You are a good son! I was a caregiver to my grandma for a year. I know the difficulties. It is definitely not easy caring for an adult, especially someone you care about.
Just found this channel, and it’s so convicting to see the lengths you’ve gone to care for your sweet mom. Thank you for sharing your moments with her. 💖 Praying for your family.
I've been having a rough time myself and just seeing you find the joy in the world despite your situation means the world to me. Just knowing there is always a reason for the sad things in life makes the pain much more bearable to know it's not the end. I feel like I've lost everything, but yet even though my pain probably won't end in a good while, I just hope I find the good in myself. I really love your uploads, they're very educating, and just realistic. Don't let anybody tell you what to upload, because you're doing a great job.
thank you so, so much for your encouragement and support it really means so much to me. its comments like yours and viewers like you that really help keep me going, especially when I'm tired or burnt out. I hope this tough period for you passes soon my friend. I appreciate you so much
Great story. I'm touched the most by your mom echoing what the judge said to you. That was God letting you know that *your mother* is grateful for you. The human soul is complicated, and we never know what a person suffering dementia recognizes.....but she recognizes *you* and your care for her! That's EVERYTHING! What a blessing!❤️
I’m not sure why people that give a thumbs down didn’t see the stories...I never see a son that willing to do everything for his mom. Set by example! Peoples need to watch this video and learn this from him. He is one of the best son I ever saw in my life. Trillions like and share.🥰😍
The strength and love from you can only be shown from your upbringing, your mom done an excellent job. She’s lucky to have a caring and loving son with grits to endure all the process of life and court proceeding ( highly stressful). Wishing you all the best and do what’s best for your well-being and family.
Your a kind man looking after your mom, my sister works in a old age home. The elders are treated like products; managers cant wait for them to die to get the next replacement in. Most of the elders never have visitors and die alone.
I found You through Your video about losing Your cat Bubba, and commented on it there... And, yes, Your mother is DEFIFNITELY lucky to have You... Keep up the Life Strength - You have been learning so much about what is REALLY important
Thank you for your heartfelt honesty. Life is full of surprises, some good, some not so good. But you are such a blessing. Your mom (& dad) did a great job in teaching you what family and love truly is
I just came across your videos and I really enjoy your videos. I work with dementia patients on a daily basis and your videos are very inspiring. It is a very physical, emotional job that can be very draining. Many of the residents don’t see their family members and we are the only family that they have. It is difficult not to become attached to them. I see them as part of my family and I love them, how can you not. Your mum is not lucky, but very blessed to have you as a son. You are my hero. 🤗
You’re a great man, Frank. These videos are a consistent reminder that good exists in The World and that Judge was speaking the truth. I hope the best for you, your mom and your dad.
Thank you! This is something that is so difficult to watch and do many times. Thank you for being so real, raw and honest about this part of your life. Don't stop what you are doing, you have helped so much just with talking thru your videos. Don't forget, you are not alone and you are loved. Blessings to you & your family!

What you are now sharing is the reason I watch your channel. It is so inspiring to see a real person going through real hardship with love, grace, wisdom and integrity. That is so rare. It is inspiring to see how much you have grown since your old channel. Thank you for being here.
Breaks my heart, i used to care for my mother. But since Covid everything went down hill and her condition was getting worse and she was so unaware that she needed help indeed that when i finally got her in a ambulance to the hospital. not even 1 day later she went to IC and 10 hours later she died. She was 63.

So happy mom is off hospice it's proof that you've cared for her well! Are those exercise clips of your mom recent? Her gait seems more steady than before.
You are a very good son. I know your mom is aware of that. May God help you to continue to do your best . She needs you now more than ever. God bless you
Much respect to you and your family. Your mother is not only fortunate to have to have you as a son, but you are fortunate to have her as a mother....God Bless.

I’m happy to have been recommended your videos. I’ve been feeling so lost and for some reason, your videos have given me comfort. I hope to support my family just like you. I graduate from university this May and I’m feeling so nervous and anxious for what’s to come. I just feel like I’ll end up a failure and not secure a well paying job. You are amazing! You have such a great love and respect for your mom, this is so good to see, thank you for sharing this. Your such a gift, a great son, blessings to you and your family.
Just a small comment, I think the judge was just trying to keep himself assertive and not willing to let his guard down which is understandable is those kind of positions. That being said humans still have emotions and sensations, he knew all along that you were doing the best you could for your mom

I really enjoy watching your content because your documenting the human experience. It's not just youtube garbage. You are actually touching people's lives and I literally started crying thinking about my own experience and how it relates to you and knowing someone understands means a lot.
much love to you Madeline, thank you so much my friend
The judge did not lie. Your mom is very lucky to have you❤
🙏🙏 thank you!
It hasn't been a rough 12 months for "everyone".
much love to you thank you so much my friend
This is so beautiful to watch. A grown man taking care of his own mom. For all the so called men out there, try doing what he does...
Thank you for sharing your journey. This is truly inspirational 👏
Dude you have no idea how much that means to her. I lost my mom at 8 to cancer and as I watched her slowly fade the only thing she cared about was spending time with us. You are one hell of a man for sticking around as long as you have and I hope you can find your peace with this one day.
thank you so much for your kind words and encouragement. I'm so sorry for your loss as well. sending you and your family so much love my friend
Thank you Frank !! There's not too many sons like you. God bless you.!! Enjoy your videos. Blessings from Texas ,US. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

I have been watching your videos and the love you have for your mother is bringing me to tears. It absolutely warms my heart. God will bless you so much. She is indeed so very lucky to have you. I pray for healing during this difficult time with your mother and family. God bless.
I’m suffering with a severe panic disorder and watching you care for your mom with such love and strength gives me hope 💜
sending you love my dear friend!
I’m crying because I’m caring for my Grandmother she’s bed bound, God really put you on this earth for a reason what a good son you are to her . God bless you brother 🙏🏻😇
sending you so much love my friend, thank you!!
I honestly am so glad you're able to tell us these stories Frank. Thank you so much for letting us know. I've learned a lot from your old videos and continue to learn from your new ones too. Don't ever change please.
thank you so much!! your encouragement means so much to me
What a great message! I do live my life day to day and like you I celebrate and rejoice in the small progress my disabled son makes... whether it be as simple as picking up a cup and being able to independently drink from it and to simple words as “No” because he is non verbal... Thanks for sharing your story!! 💕
sending you and you son so much love celia!!!
When the people criticizing these videos for being too negative enter into similar circumstances, they'll be thanking almighty God they sat through these videos.
Your videos serve different functions and answer very difficult questions. Your courage is admirable and virtuous. God bless you.
thank you so much my friend!! much love to you
@@ice1cube You're very welcome, to you as well :)
Chin up and keep posting what your doing (if you want to) theres a huge lesson to be learned in your videos and as someone that is from a younger lost generation it is a good reminder of what we should really look up to.
thank you my friend! I appreciate you so much
We only have one mother in this world. As always God is watching and listening, God bless you.
Thank you for sharing those beautiful moments of you feeding your mum...as she was there for you when you were younger, now you have the gift of giving back....I envy you! God bless you and your times together.
thank you so much for your support!!
I agree... being grateful is key to living life happily. The love and level of care you give your mom is amazing. Keep it up
This is my first time seeing any videos regarding your channel. From what I saw you are sharing more than just the disease process that is dementia but the REAL challenges of a caregiver for a loved one.
Thank you for sharing your journey with others who maybe going through similar trials and tribulations.
thank you so much my friend!!
Stay strong❤️ 💪🏼
thank you my friend, much love to you and your parents
I always respect your videos Frank! Thank you for filming and sharing your life with the public. Keep up the awesome work!
thank you so much
"THE LORD IS MY SHEPHERD"! I pray these words stay with you in tough moments🙏🏽.
🙏🙏 thank you!
You’re a good son. That’s golden Asian family values. Mad respects.
Frank has taught me to keep grinding and to stay focused. Thank you for that my good sir. 🙌 and not to take things for granted.
You are a good son! I was a caregiver to my grandma for a year. I know the difficulties. It is definitely not easy caring for an adult, especially someone you care about.
Frank your negative thoughts turned into a postive! You help so many!!
Just found this channel, and it’s so convicting to see the lengths you’ve gone to care for your sweet mom. Thank you for sharing your moments with her. 💖 Praying for your family.
thank you so much for your kindness and support!!
What a blessing!❤️
thank you so much tess!!
I’m not sure why people that give a thumbs down didn’t see the stories...I never see a son that willing to do everything for his mom. Set by example! Peoples need to watch this video and learn this from him. He is one of the best son I ever saw in my life. Trillions like and share.🥰😍
thank you so much my dear friend!!
The strength and love from you can only be shown from your upbringing, your mom done an excellent job. She’s lucky to have a caring and loving son with grits to endure all the process of life and court proceeding ( highly stressful). Wishing you all the best and do what’s best for your well-being and family.
thank you so much dzung much love to you my friend
Your a kind man looking after your mom, my sister works in a old age home. The elders are treated like products; managers cant wait for them to die to get the next replacement in. Most of the elders never have visitors and die alone.
my heart breaks when I hear this. thank you for your kindness
I found You through Your video about losing Your cat Bubba, and commented on it there... And, yes, Your mother is DEFIFNITELY lucky to have You... Keep up the Life Strength - You have been learning so much about what is REALLY important
thank you so much joel!! I really appreciate you
Honestly your recent videos haven't been depressing, maybe raw if anything. Either way I appreciate the good advice and thought in every video :-)
Thank you for your heartfelt honesty. Life is full of surprises, some good, some not so good. But you are such a blessing. Your mom (& dad) did a great job in teaching you what family and love truly is
I love the quote on the fence!!! “The Lord is my shepherd”
🙏🙏 thank you!
I hope the best for you, your mom and your dad.
thank you so much my friend, much love to you

Thank you for being here.
thank you so much my friend
Breaks my heart, i used to care for my mother. But since Covid everything went down hill and her condition was getting worse and she was so unaware that she needed help indeed that when i finally got her in a ambulance to the hospital. not even 1 day later she went to IC and 10 hours later she died. She was 63.
I'm so sorry my friend, much love to you. your mom and mine are nearly the same age. sending you and your family so much love my friend
@@ice1cube Thank you so much man I really appreciate it. It brought me to tears when I saw you doing exercises with her. I could have done the same, but sadly it's different. Much respect & love to you and your family, all the way from the Netherlands🙏🇳🇱

I’m so proud of you!!! You have so much love and patience caring your mom. It’s really true your love that makes her strong and healthy
thank you rosalie!!
So happy mom is off hospice it's proof that you've cared for her well! Are those exercise clips of your mom recent? Her gait seems more steady than before.
You are a very good son. I know your mom is aware of that. May God help you to continue to do your best . She needs you now more than ever. God bless you
Wait so was it implied that she finally got what was owed to her?
I should've added that but yes, the judge sent out a ruling a few days later restoring her disability payments
@@ice1cube great to hear that.
@@ice1cube Thank God!
Much respect to you and your family. Your mother is not only fortunate to have
to have you as a son, but you are fortunate to have her as a mother....God Bless.
your negative videos are great! i've been watching your videos since middle school back when you had uploaded that song with the decimals of Pi in it. as long as your great storytelling skills are on this site, i'm happy. i rarely ever comment but i just enjoy your channel that much.
What you're doing for your mum...feeding her, exercising her and representing her is amazing and encouraging....well done!
thank you!!
Im really afraid of disappointing my family. I know they love me but I’m not going into a STEM career like they wanted me to. Haha sorry for that rant. I just needed to get that out.
thank you sasha!! don't give yourself so much pressure, you will rise to the occasion when you need to and by the way you talk about caring for your family, I know that they are already proud of you and love you immensely. much love to you my friend, all the best in all your future endeavors!!
@@ice1cube I for sure am putting a lot of pressure on myself. 🥺🥺 I appreciate your words of encouragement!! Thanks for being an inspiration to so many people. I hope to update my comment one day that things did end up working out.
Life is tough. You are a brave man to overcome all the difficulties. There’s still a long way to go but believe yourself. You will be there. God bless you! Love!

your mom is so lucky to have you frank
Love your videos, mate.
They're deep, thoughtful and are a huge perspective shifter for me. I always go away from your videos considering the bigger picture and thinking about how I can care for/serve others in my life or how I can apply a lesson/glean wisdom from your shared stories.
Keep on doing you!
thank you so much for your kind words!! 🙏
You are the best son!!! God bless you. ❤️

How could that doctor have been so careless! Unnecessary stress to get those payments.
Thanks for sharing, you're such a good son to your mom.
You are becoming my role model.
You are indeed the best son ever!!!
God richly bless you for taking care of your mum!! I pray she gets better so you guys can truly enjoy each other more!
It’s just how it is, your channel was about the Supra and nice cars. People who knew you back then only came for that. But people don’t understand that it ain’t all about cars. Family is number one. God bless you and your family.
🙏🙏 thank you
I love the raw reality that you show in your videos. The care that you give to your mom, really speaks volumes of your character. You really are an amazing son & person. Please don't forget to take care of yourself 💕 Looking forward to your next videos
Don't feel bad about needing to express yourself. It is your channel and it is your way to balance out your emotion. You do you as long as it is genuinely out from your heart. All the best.

thank you nadim I'm with her now and this means so much to me
Beautiful to see you care for mom. I couldn’t help but cry because of the light you are.
I took care of my dad for ten years. He just passed away. I miss him so much.
Your mother is so blessed to have you in her life.Your videos are so uplifting because without trials there are no triumphs.
Just a small comment, I think the judge was just trying to keep himself assertive and not willing to let his guard down which is understandable is those kind of positions. That being said humans still have emotions and sensations, he knew all along that you were doing the best you could for your mom
🙏🙏 thank you!
Dear Frank, I am so in awe of you and your Mum. You deserve only good things in this life, and I am sure they are happening for you. What a journey you are on, inspiring to all. Yes, your Mum is happy to have you, and you her. You would not be the man you are today if not for her. Love and only the best wishes for you both. Thank you for sharing your rawness and honesty with us. Sherie Rodrigues from Australia. My thoughts are with you. 🤗❤🧡💛

Please post more videos about you and your mom, you’re such a great inspiration, I too burst in tears watching all your videos, you’re doing such a wonderful thing to share your story to us.
