Thomas EXOVCDS thanks mate I’m loving it so far, I always been a dewalt fan boy but I’m super impressed with Milwaukee’s stuff and my GSF car parts place sell them for a good price 👍👍👍

@@CarsExposed Dewalt is a good number 2. But nothing can beat Milwaukee's innovation and the amount of different electric tools. in bouth m12 and m18. I used to have some Dewalt, had a DCF 899. It was good, but i have much more tools on the Milwaukee platform. Dewalt is lagging behind when it comes to automotive tools. So does Makita and Bosch. Maybe they are good for carpenters.
It's always good with competition. But now it seems like Snap-On electrical tools are the only real competitor. And they are way pricier than Milwaukee. And not performing as good., not beeing brushless. Not having as good warranty. I find it exciting when Milwaukee are announcing new tools, as they have done recently. Long neck Fuel ratchet and angle die grinder was the most exiting for me. I wished other brands like Dewalt and Makita could release some more for the automotive marked. They have some, but not enough.I belive they can if they want. The high torque DCF 899 was awesome.
I want one for suspension work, but I am unsure one whether to get the mid or high torque, as a beginner, I cannot visualise what the max torque is to get rusted bolts off, any help is appreciated. See the expensive ones can do over a 1300nm of torque, is that sufficient to crack any nut on a car?
@@CarsExposed How it is doing overall. I am DYI-er and I was thinking to buy Milwaukee. My dilema is between this and 12V Stuby (www.powertools-direct.com/milwaukee-m12fiw38-0-fuel-3-8-impact-wrench-zero-tool-c2x26733052). It is around £100 difference between them. I am planing to do suspention work and most of the bolts require 100Nm of torque.
You made a big dollar purchase but I think you'll be very happy with the performance. Nice test using the gun too. I subscribed to Dave's channel and I'll look forward to his videos.
wyattoneable thanks mate, not cheap but I’ve been impressed with it so far should save me lots of time and body ache 😊😋... many thanks for subbing to Dave’s channel 👍👍👍
Niamh Healy Thanks Niamh, the same here I was flirting with the Dewalt 899 for a while until I found this one on GSF carparts for £298 and I couldn’t resist 😊 👍👍👍
@@CarsExposed Thank you for the quick reply, it's a lot for a mid range torque, found one at SGS with 1 battery and charger for £242 but after looking at Milwaukee review on trustpilot I am not going to get one.
Super Mario Diagnostics thanks Mario... I really appreciate content like Dave and yourself are putting out mate, it will help a lot when I get my mitts on a scope, keep them coming 👍👍👍
Cars Exposed lol mate Milwaukee are good I know this as I own both but you cannot beat makita trust me that impact gun will take down London Bridge with without giving up and WANT MORE believe me 😂 mate BUT the cordless ratchet is excellent and something that cannot be matched with makita they all have there ups and downs and flaws somewhere
Sounds good, but its the max torque surely you judge it on, not the power increments, Milwaukee seem to be leading the way in torque ratings, can makita do 1400Nm like the Milwaukee high torque 1/2" impacts?
Krille's Garage oh man that’s the beast one super powerful, that’s coming next I’ll buy the high torque body only at some point as I have 3 x 5ah batteries... thanks mate 👍👍👍
@@CarsExposed Milwaykee is in my opinion the best brand for a mechanic. Bouth M12 and M18 have good options. The compact M12 1/4", and compact m12 3/8" impact is also nice to have :-) But not a must have. The m12 Fuel ratchet is though a must have :-) And later this year there will be a m12 angle die grinder
People who complain about vibrations know fuck all about work. I recommend 2x4 hours with 10-15 kg impact hammer to the wall - maybe then they would truly appreciate the tool
Would you say the high torque is overkill? I can stomach the £200 for the mid torque but no way am I spending £400 on something that can be done with a £10 breaker bar.
And that's how Milwaukee reviews should be... and I know I will see you using it in future videos!

Krille's Garage I totally agree I think they are more focused on different trades, I’m impressed with Milwaukee’s range 👍👍👍

The mid torque is very good for suspension work i havent come across many bolts that wouldnt take off.
@@CarsExposed Thanks, what kind of bolts did it struggle with?
Use higher setting to undo and lower setting to tight the bolts (when they require around 100 Nm of torque). That is probably the best solution.
Cheers pal 👍👍👍

Great video! Not only saves you time but energy as well!
natedanaste thanks mate ... absolutely 👍👍👍
Cool tools igor, you'l not know how you did without them. And of course thanks for the shout out
Absolutely that’s the feeling already, I’ve done a couple suspension job and it’s so nice ... No worries mate keep those vids coming 👍👍👍
Hey there Igor. I think you made a good buy on this tool. Sure is easier getting the wheels off and easier on the body too!!! Thanks for posting!!!!
Thanks buddy I’m loving it so far, so much easier and quicker cheers 👍👍👍

How much did you pay? need to do more testing like crank pulley bolt.
Mo Medea I paid £300ish discounted from GSF carparts , not powerful enough for crank pulley bolts mate 👍👍👍

Looks like a decent tool mate. Will save you lots of time 👍
Badgertronix loving it mate I did a reluctor ring In a bmw yesterday, the hub nut and suspension components came off easy 👍👍👍
Wow my makita would have had them off on the 1st one alone the second and third would rip them out this is why you can’t beat Japanese engineering
Bmw & Mini Doctor 🤣🤣 I haven’t tried the Makita impact yet but c’mon this mid torque is not too bad 😉👍👍👍👍

I wish I bought the Mid Torque instead of the High Torque..
Dakkyz good to have both tho, high torque is next on the list 👍👍👍

Fast like F1
🤣🤣🤣🤣 exactly the same thing came to my head when I was watching 😊👍👍👍
2 of your batterys look fake
Budget Tech really? I can guarantee they are not fake ..
Get extra sockets, annoying ....
