Most expensive hotels in Langkawi like to claim that their front beaches are private, it is good marketing strategy but all beaches in Langkawi are public domain. Hotels can only restrict public to enter the beach through their property or compound but anyone is allowed by law to lounging around on the beach as long as you do not encroach into the property such as using their swimming pool or sunbeds.
How to get to the beach then?
As long as you can get in through the neighbouring forests without tresspassing the hotels’ properties or compound.

But still cannot visit unless if you are the guest hotel the reason their can make such claim like that because government have share in that hotel through his subsidiary Themed Attractions Resorts & Hotels

@@sayfolman7752 if not mistaken, 30 feet from the water line to inland is considered public beach/beach reserved, and hotels do not have the right to chase away anyone on the beach.

Wow it looks like an amazing resort... is it far to walk from the rainforest villa to the main pool? And to the beach? I'm travelling with my 2 year old... Is it ok to walk?

There are buggies available, this villa is near the lobby but far from the beach. Hope this helps
