This was a job that we were contacted for, by the neighbour of this customer. We had worked for the neighbour previously, having cleaned some organic growth from their brickwork, and had also having cleaned and re-sanded their driveway.
This customer was a reclusive, retired NHS nurse that had been severely let down in the past, and over charged for work that wasn't completed on her patio by some rogue traders. Because of that experience, she was extremely worried and apprehensive about contacting any trades people for any type of work, that might need carrying out around her home. The only reason we were invited to quote for this job, was because her neighbour had assured her that they believed that we would carry out a good job for a reasonable price, and above all were trustworthy.
After explaining the cleaning process in detail for both the patio and driveway, and providing a quote. We left the quote with the customer so she could think it over. The following day we were contacted, and the quote was accepted. She also asked if we could clean the organic growth from her walls at some point, as she was aware that we had cleaned her neighbours brickwork, and they were very pleased with the results.
When our customer saw the end results of the clean, she was over the moon. She admitted that since her previous negative experience with bad tradesmen, and even though her neighbour had recommended us, and that she liked me, she still had a niggling bit of doubt in her mind that the job might not be completed properly, and to a high standard. She said she'll always be a little suspicious from now on, and will only employ people that have been recommended to her, but in her own words, she said "you've gone quite far in restoring my faith" and "there are trades people out there that are trust worthy, and will do a good job" which was a lovely thing to be told, and was an amazing compliment.

If someone needed their faith restored in true professional tradesmen, you of course are that individual! This lovely property was made even more beautiful by you, my goodness Nick what a spectacular outcome! Taking care with all her plants and landscaping, crisp edges.....it's always so obvious how much pride you have in your work! One of the many reasons why we watch you young man!! This is my biggest fear as a tradesman. The risk of disappointing others. I take immense pride in my work and expect nothing but the best from myself at all times. Most of the time tho it is me saying how disappointed I am in my own work with the customers reassuring me that it looks great. Thanks for returning this person's faith and I will follow you on the same journey
She has such a lovely yard, now it's Gorgeous! I love her plants and flower pots. I've had work done on my home, and know what it's like to have inferior work done. It's so nice you could restore her faith that not everyone out there is trying to rip her off. Congrats on a job well done!!!!

Beautiful brick in the front yard. I don't recall ever seeing one like them. The paving stones in the mud were set at the correct height but the ones in the grass had sunk making them hard to keep clean as they are lower than the grass. No place for the water to run. Really nice work!
the small stepping pavers that you’re taking about are actually recessed on purpose. it’s a landscaping design and some customers like the way it blends, they’re usually edged so the grass doesn’t touch the pavers but in this case that hasn’t been done. yes they are a pain to pressure wash.

What a cute property and you made look like a small King's castle. As i keep watching landscaping videos, i really think there should be a college just for landscaping. Im the same as her, I dont trust any craftsmen. They either overcharge you or do a shitty job that’s why Im always nervous when I hire them to do projects in my house. Very scary.

Great job. Edging around those individual patio blocks would have made the rinse off easier as the rinse water could roll off the side down into the ground. Too bad the pots didn’t get washed down as well. Tough cleaning job- happy you helped this woman out. 😊

Most of our tradesman have been in our family through generations and service them all. First my parents and now us and friends. When you find a good one, I hold onto them and recommend their services to anyone who asks.

It always amazes me how white those stones really are. When you first show them, they look like grey concrete pavers that are so common in America.

You did a great job! The garden stone work is very pretty. However, In a year or so the front and back patio and the stone path will be dirty again because the grass and flower beds are higher than these ares. Dirt from flower beds and grass will cover them up again.

Thanks ☺️. The blocks are re-sanded to stabilise them, so they don’t shift about. It’s not really anything to do with aesthetics.

Hi what does the re application of the kiln dry sand do and work for? Is it because it was washed away during the deep clean ? Good job mate .
It stops the slabs from shifting, and yes, some of it gets washed out but it usually needs refilling anyway

Which colour nozzle insert are you using in the x jet for this wash?
And when applying the SH did you have your pressure washer at full throttle?
Im having trouble controling the flow of SH when Im applying it with the xjet but it looks like yours is working well.
It's nothing to do with the colour of the nozzle mate. It's the pressure that effects the flow. The less pressure, the less flow, and the more easy it is to control. Run on full throttle with your unloader/pressure regulator valve turned right down.

Hey man wondering why you do the treatment after you use the surface cleaner, I always pre treat and then use the surface cleaner after 10-15 minutes. Wondering if there is a advantage to the way you do it great job on this job man
GoPros don't like cold temps so maybe that was the issue? Great results, looks like new. I like the pattern on the front drive with white stones.
Could be mate, GoPro's are great, but i've found can be temperamental on occasion in all conditions, especially as they get older 👍
