These tutorials are peerless. I'm not an FX kinda guy, but you could tear down a toilet flush assembly and I would learn something new about airguns. I'm here for the Leshiy 2 content tbh but your knowledge and love of PCP technology is inspirational.
I really appreciate that, its really good to hear that people are enjoying the Vids, more Leshiy 2 stuff is on the way, I am just waiting to get some more range time so I can have a bit of a play and tune with the valve, but more vids will follow shortly. Thanks for watching.
Thanks for this. Only issue I had was that the valve blank cover was not hand tight. In fact it couldnt be shifted with pliers. I wasnt going to try molegrips so had to leave that in place to save damaging it.Also couldnt undo the grub screw holding the valve in the Power Block. It was way too tight and again would have damaged it.
Wow you know your rifles I'm impressed so easy to understand and I like the way you tell us the hex key measurements thankyou very much for your intuitive turtorial.
Hello i have stripped 2 threads holes on the top plate that holds the scope rail it is M3x10 and M30x8 what is the best method to fix this please thank you
Hi, thanks for your excellent videos. I just wanted to ask. On the M3 where the angled manometer bracket fits there are three screws. The central one being the air supply. Do you know how this is sealed as standard (without the bracket). I've looked at FX's diagrams and it doesn't show any seal, just a dog head grub screw. Many thanks
Are there drawings and part lists available for those restricted 12 variant? I just can find some for the unrestricted. my local dealer does not have them but before ordering this expensive rifle, i would like to know how its build. your videos are of great help understanding the mechanics and details, thanks a lot
Hello sir, as several people here i was glad to see at 15.04 what de rateling noise was in my fx but i can see my hammerspring ( the spring i can see behind the quick tune) is moving too when the rifle is uncocked . I can move it with a toothpick 4a5 mm when the powerweel is on 1 . Is this also normal or should this be always under tension ? I've the unrestrickted version (Belgium) . Any help would be much appreciated! Thank you !
Thanks, yep no sponsorship, sponsored vids just feel like long ads to me and its not what you want to hear when looking at a new rifle. Thanks for watching.
Just checked it and its perfect, I think the pellet probe housing is a little different on the M3 so it looks like its slightly misaligned but my one is where it should be the PP lines up with the transfer port with no misalignment. Thanks for watching.
Do you know the difference of the M3 barrel than the most updated MK2 barrel? Is there anything different as far as threads in the internal shroud and compatibility? Great video, thx!
Sorry, meant to say in the vid, its the same barrel system as the MK2, but it now comes as standard with the superior liner, the shroud end is a little different but no change in compatibility. Thanks for watching.
@@sub12airgunners hi mate quick question if you dont mind. i have the mk2 impact and the barrel in it is fully rifle'd end to end. is that the superior barrel that i have or is the superior barrel different ? cheers and great informative video aswel
Hey, hope you get to reply to this comment. I really want to buy a rifle I can take to Belgium with me and once there easily unrestrict it. Then when returning back to the UK take it back down to a sub 12. With the impact mk3 if I remove the trigger and open up the regulator will I then have access to the rifles full power, or is there more I'd need to do / parts to replace? I have a chronometer so returning back to sub 12 wouldn't be an issue, even if it is a little fiddly finding the sweet spot. If this isn't as simple as it seems with the mk3 is there any rifle you could recommend better suited to this purpose? Something that could easily be returned to sub 12 before entering back into the UK.
on the front cover where the blanking valve, (12.15 time on vid) if this is undone a little bit/a turn or 2, should the power increase, or should it stay the same at under 12lbft?
Your videos are among my new favorites, thanks so much for the stellar work! some questions though: That regulator in front for the bottle looks a lot like the one found in the Leshiy 2- Is it, by any chance, the same generic device and if so could it be a way to give a Mark 1 (Impact X) second reg. ability? And.... how do I find your stuff on ebay? Thanks again !!
HI, thanks you very much for your kind word glad you enjoy the vids, unfortunately the front reg is a unique fitting to the M3, it will not fit the older Impacts without machining of the Impact block, You can find my stuff on ebay link below. www.ebay.co.uk/sch/geoffeve-7/m.html?item=373570787127&hash=item56fa8dd737%3Ag%3AmscAAOSwnRZgjCK1&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2562
Quality from start to finish 👏 I watched every second and I enjoyed every second very good job 👍 I won't be chopping in my mk2 anytime soon but that said if I didn't have an impact already and wanted one I would definitely get a new m3 over the possible cheaper surplus mk2s As regards to the backwards compatability I've decided if anything for the parts that would make the difference to me (1st regulator and quick tune) its more a case of forward compatability at this point 😁 I am basically thinking if anything it would be better to look out for a m3 block and transfer my mk2 parts onto that 😊 obviously this is the opposite way of looking at it and the blocks aren't available separately directly from fx and why would they but these things have away of coming around, this would be way easier then getting my mk2 block re-engineered to accept the m3 valve minus the other benefits. This is light years away but think I definitely won't be the only one thinking this 😆 Anyways looking forward to the reassembly with the many personal improvements brass reg piston and all 😀👍? atb
Thanks glad you enjoyed it, i did put all the parts from the M3 on a MK2 body and they fit nicely, not sure if they are going to be available any time soon though. Good luck on finding a M3 main block I think they will be like hens teeth at the moment, lot of improvements coming, no brass reg piston yet though I didn't get a chance to make one, but ill just make on off camera, lots of spring guides and polishing done though. Thanks for watching.
You can get them from Bagnall and Kirkwood, link below. Thanks for watching: spares.bagnallandkirkwood.co.uk/product/fx-impact-mk2-m3-c1-19604-hammer-seat-removal-tool/
In sub 12 there is not much difference between the two, I would say the M3 is the better rifle just side by side but if you got a real good deal on a MK2 I would say take it. For FAC the M3 is the definite better choice though. Thanks for watching.
Hey bud. I just got myself and M3 after upgrading from the MK2. Is there anyway I can contact you directly as I have a question about my M3. Any help would be very much appreciated! Thanks.
I wondered what that noise was when I moved gun side to side its the hammer ? Well a week on the sick I've watched every one and spent £220 at bagnall and kirkwood 👍

the sub 12 has no barrel tuner i wanted to see how that was made im so sorry your laws suck here if it shot a 50lb bullet at 3000fps using air it would still be simply a air rifle i still dont see how your gov figures its a firearm when its above 12ftlbs theres no fire involved and that is what makes it a fire arm lol love your videos keep up the good work sir
Thanks, yeah the government opts for a "no fun allowed" policy with everything unfortunately. I don't think the FAC or international version come standard with the barrel tuning attachment, its an optional add on part I believe. The shops are starting to get them in stock now though so we should see how they work shortly. Thanks for watching.

Brilliant videos for the UK market especially, wondering do you work on guns for a price as would like for my M3 to have all those legal mods done?
Great video to disassemble the Fx Impact M3! can you kindly tell me at min 19.35 what kind of cover for the pressure gauge you use? Thank you
Its just one I made to cover the chrome gauge, the white dots just a reference mark to show where the regs set. Thanks for watching.

Hi no that is just a cover on the sub 12 guns so shouldn't do anything
