- The LDG name has been associated with Auto Antenna tuners for several decades. Despite most new HF transceivers now having built-in ones, there is still a need for external versions. This particular design has a lot to offer the average 100W ham radio station. We take an in-depth look at the AT100 Pro II.

LDG AT100 Pro II
hamradiostore....
I own 3 different LDG tuners, and for the money they can't be beat. I've never had an issue with them. And the best part is LDG's customer service. Simply put, they are awesome.
I like LDG and they're great. I had to send my RT-600 in for repair and it was non-repairable. They graciously sent me a new AT-600PROll for free including shipping. How's that for terrific customer service?
Nice to hear
Hi Peter. Yes I have one of these tuners with my Icom IC7300 and 84/feet inverted L with a balun at the top end of the garden and it tunes on top band as well. Like the led display as well as I can see what's happening on the Atu. Thanks for the demonstration. 👍🐾🐾
Many thanks for sharing.
It seems as though DX Commander has been scrubbed from RUclips, any thoughts on what's going on with his channel???
He is back on a new channel....
It does have a quirk in that the relays are self-latching so if you are on ant2 and cycle power, when it comes back up, it incorrectly indicates ant1. At least, that's what happens on the one I have.
Which model and power capacity if you don't mind?
@@charleswoods2996 The AT100proII
I have the older AT-200 Pro as the 100 wasn't in stock when I bought it. The the 100 has latching relays, the 200 doesn't. The idea was that you could turn off the power with the AT-100 and keep using it. You need to keep the power on with the AT-200. The AT-200 returns to the last used setting when it is powered on. Being the older model, it misses out on the indicator LEDs for Bypass and Ant2.
What’s the different between in/out of circuit versus bypass? Thank you.
Not discernible
It is striking that everybody takes FaceBook for granted and assumes that really everyone has an account. I do not! I refuse to take part in that so called "social" media. So please be a bit more elaborate in your RUclips videos than referring to that FB monster.
Facebook is a choice, and we submit postings because lots of people use it. But it's not compulsory. 73 Peter.
Agreed. *Fecebook* has become a big joke. I'm glad I completely logged off that mess! After being blocked from contacting FAMILY particularly, as well as *real friends* because some *Fecebook* employee or some sissy liberal didn't like what I said and reported me/my comment(s) and their tender little feelings were hurt - awwwwe. Too freaking bad. Don't miss that site for nothing.
this tuner have any option to reset all memories? I mean I need delete old swr memories,I'll appreciate any help with this problem. Thank you!
Do you know what max power in digital modes ?
From the beginning of the video answering the initial question; "Because upon deep and intense research, many operators explained that they *automatic antenna tuner* in the Icom 7300 particularly isn't nearly as accurate - as - the LDG AT-1000 ProII Autotuner that I use with the aforementioned transceiver."

Many thanks for sharing. 73 Peter
Are they reverse polarity protected,my z-11 wasn't and a stupid mistake ruined a great piece of kit! 73
I was not able to ascertain this, but I am told there is. 73 Peter
Does it make more sense to have the tuner out at the antenna? The coax between the radio and the antenna shouldn't need tuned, just the antenna right? Are there good external antenna tuners that can go outside with remote controls so they can be operated from inside?
An ATU at the antenna is a better option, but it will not TUNE the antennna, only match it. Remote ATUs show the greatest benefit when using balanced 300 or 450 Ohm line. Check out hamradiostore.co.uk/ldg-rt-rc100.html. 73 Peter.
Really straight forward video as usual, just curious, are you a pilot, details please. 😊
Many thanks
Nice...................
Great Video, very informative as usual.
Thanks again!
nice one peter
Sorry... (well not really).
You lost me at the Ukraine flag intro.

I had them but jeez they are noisy especially late at night and Radio room is upstairs.
Now i never use a tuner, and have resonant antennas for most bands.
They do work but prefer resonant antennas to reduce losses.
Generally speaking, if you are using an antenna on a band already set uo, the tuner should go straight to it.
There are no "losses" in a non-resonant antenna.
That's a myth (that's still alive, apparently). 😂
Отписываюсь. Радиолюбительство должно быть вне политики!
I'm sorry, but where were the "politics" in this video?
@@charleswoods2996 I think ignorant igor is complaining about the use of the Ukrainian flag at the beginning and end of the video.
@@ben2e0omr it's the least he can do out of respect
@@ben2e0omr Hello, Ben! You are very polite by writing my name with a small letter and calling me ignorant
