My dealer sold me this machine for $6500 yesterday. Even though I have the Babylock Imagine and Ovation I bought this because of the screen help and especially the free arm! I also have Bernina sewing machines and love them. This serger will take the place of my older Viking 936 which also had a free arm but was so difficult to thread. I can’t imagine why Babylock brought out the new Euphoria cover stitch machine without a free arm. I might have purchased that one, but this new Bernina has it all!

My dream machine!! Love the sleek look! Sergers don't look like they used to.

You are correct they don't look anything like they used to. :D This one in particular. Nor do they sew like they used to which is a GREAT THING!! :)

It’s really cool and probably easier to use than anything else on the market. But - for eight grand - it should automatically move needles to the correct positions, automatically engage/disengage knife, and the set up for each stitch should be completely automated, in my opinion. Maybe the technology hasn’t yet caught up to my dreams. Lol

Now that I know that any Bernina less than a 800 series is made in Thailand - I will save up for the original Bernina made in Switzerland.

I have a Babylock Triumph - which I love - but this overlocker is amazing. The cost will keep me from buying unfortunately

That's what I thought but I finally caved and traded in my Babylock Triumph for this one and I am so HAPPY that I did. There is no comparison, the Bernini L890 is the very best out there.
