Even though I’m not the target market for this type of machine i really enjoyed watching this video, especially the mini demo clips. What a brilliant machine
I traded my Babylock Triump in for the Bernina L890 and I am soooo Happy I did. This machine is so fabulous. I haven't had a bit of trouble with it and the stitches are always right on.
You will be very happy with it!! Be sure to subscribe to my newsletter because I’ve got lots of serger patterns and projects sookiesews.com/sign-mailing-list/
My baba was at least 2nd generation seamstress. She was lucky to own original company Singers. My mother was a Bernina user. I like Singer, but once I tested a Baby Lock and then owned them...I am forever a Baby Lock girl. My daughters are, too. Enjoy!
I was a babylock girl for a long time too. It’s nice there is a lot to be offered. We can all find a home with our machines. The threading and ability to adjust transitions pushed me over
Thank you. You’d have to call your local shop for the price. I don’t sell them myself. I can tell you that depending on the time of year there are different nationwide promotions. But the price is depending on your dealer. Give them a call
I’m not the expert on pricing equipment but I can say from my experience with BERNINA machines over past machines I’ve owned, it’s the precision. Sort of like why does a Mercedes-Benz just drive better than an economy car. I’ve got a 15 year old Toyota and when I get in my friends brand new Mercedes I’m always like “it’s so smooth and quiet” but again, I’m not an expert in pricing :)
I didn’t forgot to mention it but it’s not my place to say the price. Prices are different depending when, where, time of year, and promotions that are going on. What is worth it for one is different for another. My car is paid off and I live a very modest life and how I chose to spend my money is different to someone else who has a new car and fancy house. I’m just sharing the knowledge.
I am planning to start over and get rid of all of my machines and go for broke on newer models!! I'm a HUGE FAN of your channel. I'm just too shy to get my own channel 😱
Excellent video... Thank you!!!
Glad you liked it!

Thank you for saying so :) made my day

I know exactly how you feel. In my opinion BERNINA knocked this one out of the park! Enjoy your new baby.
is your machine made in china?
@Justmyopinionlol not sure. You could ask a BERNINA dealer or contact BERNINA directly. I know that it is Swiss engineered
Have a great time bonding with this new additionv to your sewing room!! I absolutely love the knee lift on my Bernina serger. You will too!!
❤️❤️❤️
What a great guided tour!
Those built-in videos are genius. I really appreciate your explanation of all the notions and tools that are included.

It was my pleasure Debra! She is a beautiful machine isn’t she.
I wish I could have this ! Closest I will get to it is my baby lock evolution 😏

Really miss Allen and all my old pals at Keep me in stitches since I moved away.
They are an awesome group. I'm sure they miss seeing you too.
Shout out to Chestnut Ridge Sewing in Millersburg, OH!
That’s right!! I love them
Sookie ...i am new to your channel, and think you are an awesome teacher! Please do some quilting with the L890, did you buy one yet?
Oh thank you so much! YES!! I did and I love it!!
Could use the threader string now with the singer that I have. 😆
cool
Very good video, but you didn't mention the price of the serger.

@@SookieSews Oh, thank you I will!
Yes, retail. I didn’t pay that…my dealer had a good special going on…always ask the dealer :)
Why is it cheaper to buy industrial sergers

She forgot to mention that the L890s MSRP is an insane $7,999.00! No home serger is worth anything near that!

@@SookieSews I agree with you Sookie
Because of the ease of use, the variety of stitches, and the consistent threading method I believe it is worth every cent I spent.
I totally agree!!
"Ahhh Sookie, Sookie now!!!"" Congratulations❣️❣️🥳🧵🪡🧵
Thank you so much! Now to learn everything there is to learn about it.

Thank you!! And yeah I’m paying things off slowly :) I just finished one and now on to the next. A good machine makes all the difference.
