I'm 42, have a strong heavy metal background... largest influence since I picked up a Guitar 30 years ago was Scotty Ian, hands down. You ever wonder where chugga chugga's began, look up and listen to a band called S.O.D. not System of a Down. This was Stormtroopers of death. Sergeant D and the S.O.D.
Produced in 1981 or 82 it will blow your mind I promise you... There had been nothing ever like them. That's just for if you're interested.
Today I enjoy everything from a little tiny bit of country to dubstep, have fallen in love with beatboxing, acoustic guitar, and all kinds of strange bans don't fit in anywhere. Camino is that band. they have a distinctly heavy feel for the pop sound that they produce. But dudes are hella good singers and they know how to put a tune together. Lyrics, music, all of it really attacks your feelings. very pleasantly happy with what I'm hearing from them. Just saw that you guys kind of had the same sort of feelings and background and I wish the best to you. Doesn't matter how old you get you're never too old to appreciate something good. And if you're anything like me, most of the people that surround you fail to see and hear what you do and what I do. I can't quite figure it out... it's plain as day but they just don't get it. And that's cool. I hope all of you always search for new and beautiful content to fill your ears and move your heart.

Camino is a pleasant surprise! Sort of like finding Colin Hayes years years later. Just surprising. I like what they're doing. very talented bunch and their music style is unique and moving.
