Poppy roll sounds like childehood. The description transports me back to playing in the summer garden. Everything is there, the lilacs and roses, the poppy and old school pastries, even the wood stack drying in preparation for winter.

Besides of COVID impacting my plans greatly, specially since I had plans figured out after getting my professional biochemistry bachelor degree and all this year, I'm greatfull in a way that this year happened. It gave me time to rethink things as I had to reconfigure plans on how to start my "grownup" life, putting my mind to the important things, spending what little contact and time that was allowed with those I love most and better understanding them and so on. I am a realist, I don't get my mind into thinking a very optmistic way and forcing myself to see what isn't real but I try to find ballance in it all, accept reallity and making best of things as things come and go. Tea has helped with this greatly, due to your videos I started to drink and buy teas that are good for gonfu style brewing, understanding the complexity of mostly black (red, Pu-erh and Liu An), white and oolong tea as much I could (still a long way to go but getting the basics down by now). And brewing tea and just focussing on it, this has put my mind to rest when difficult situations presented themselfs. So thanks for putting out these video's, keep up the great work and hope the world will return to a new normal and stable place. But wanted to put this story here, mainly as it felt right to thank you for putting me on this path as it helped me a lot and will keep me going thru complex times many more times in the future.

I grew up with having big lilac bushes lining out driveway so every time I went outside or walked to school in the mornings I would get a blast of it. The scent holds a special significance to me. I’ve had teas with distinct lilac notes before and they always capture me

Looking forward to trying this new tea! How is the new batch of Souchong Liquor, last year it was so beautiful and chocolately, but earlier this year it didn't have that same level of depth or aroma. Keep strong, and we'll keep supporting the good stuff. Hopefully they get a better control of how to keep people safe and stop people being idiots, because some level of distance and separation is necessary, because my family dying earlier in the year is definitely not something I want to take lightly or wish on anybody else...

Exactly how I felt yesterday before starting a session with your B.A.D. tea...right as rain afterwards. I've really been enjoying this tea journey since finding your channel a couple months ago. A question for the Mei Leaf team, though: with all of the interesting teaware, I'm surprised I haven't yet seen anything for handling the used tea leaves. I am using the Gong Fu Solo with a small set up in my office and have improvised a collection unit for used leaves, but curious if this has occurred to you (or anyone else) or if you just dump the leaves in the trash and fish out the stragglers with a finger.

Being from Poland I dont even want to mention politics because we have a real hell for the last 6 years. Covid made it even worse but this pandemia reveals their lack of competence and basic empathy so I hope it will wash them away very soon. I. Agree - I think Suchong L and Little Tongmu are one of the Best teas I’ve ever had. Its like they reveal the true majesty of Black tea. You cant say you know the top quality tea unless you try one of these. A true gems of Mei Leaf selection. I like both so far however Little Tong me seems fresher, brighter, airy while still being very refined, defined, clear and intense in taste. Suchong Liquor is just more spicy and woody and cocoa and at the moment I am more into Little Tongmu. I Must say again - I have never had so aromatic and flavour intense tea. The aroma spreads through out the room. Its so amazing!

Yes so sad 3rd lockdown in UK,government can't beat tea.I bet they drink too some tea for relieve country's problems.I also drink black coloured teas Ripe Puerh Menghai variety 2003 from Yunnan every single day.I am here in Thailand and it is not that bad with covid, but i stay in small Northeastern village and travel domestically only.I wish to come back, but next year would be more suitable.I like tea is like being one with oneself, those kinda memories are really treasure.I just can't imagine to put such memories in the videos.Though for sleep barley and mint tea, might be the best.I want to sell myself tea or supplements and export to Europe like Thai tea called Fah Talai Jone tea, which is known to relieve covid, fever and etc symptoms .Generally nothing does beat Puerh or Matcha, but i like Puerh more, since it is good for your stomach.Tea is a drink that recovers your soul if tea is righteous one.Thank you for your video, always looking forward for tea videos.

There are untold numbers of small businesses both sides of the pond that aren't going to make it through this rodeo, no idea what if anything can be done for those unfortunate folks either, but I certainly hope your (and my) businesses survive this train wreck of a year, your not alone in your frustration, it's just as infuriating on this side of the big water...just because it's best to end on a positive note, listening to Don do a tea tasting is a fantastic way to end a day, I just wish I had half the palette you do! Lol.
