Ya know with a little engineering you could probably integrate some gravel deflectors into those wheel pants, just need to add a flat section that stays the same width as the center part of the wheel pant, all the way to the back tip.

Nothing with a Single engine is King. When that's out what else do you have? I don't care how much gliding speed you have left to squeeze. I just don't feel safe period in those things. Multi engine is the way to go.
That PT6 is so reliable that an engine failure is almost unheard of. What twin turboprop fits this market niche, and at what price? No, this airplane owns the segment.

Aero does look a fair bit better. Maybe the wheel fairings could come down and fully enclose the wheels. A single piece fiber composite circular cross section pressurized variant with reclined fishbone seats might be twice as fast. Some of the seats could flip away to be cargo sections. Maybe a mid wing. You don't really need to clear small trees for remote flying and a lower wing would have stronger ground effect. And I could have sworn that sounded like Tom Haines. Surely not :)

“It climbs like a homesick angel” what a great line Mark!
Glad to see you still involved Tom.
Thanks for the report Tom! I’m happy to see you in AOPA RUclips videos.
Wow! What a wonderful work! Excellent choice for the engine, the reduction of drag.... this is a well thought airplane! Congrats!
Makes me really proud to work on it !
Welcome back Tom! Part-Time is fantastic.
I want to fly one of these!!!!!!! Beautiful machine…. Thanks for the video..
Hopefully this model will become available in Microsoft Flight Simulator (for those of us who can't afford to fly the real thing).
i would love to have this thing.
The New Kodiak 900 Single Turboprop looks Kool and easy to fly I hope to see these Planes in my home country Barbados in the upcoming years!!!!
Beautiful aircraft!
I like the design of the belly pod, very aerodynamic 😎😎
I saw this model at Oshkosh and thought it looked great.
Beautiful!!
Very nice airplane for charter operations into short strips.
If I had 3 mill this is what I would buy. Perfect plane for taking friends to the slops, or the lake!
3 mil........how much that engine costs ????????????????????
That is a sweet airplane!
OMG that is soooooooo gorgeous 😍
Very, very, nice!

900 amphi version avaliable?
Can you get more luxurious vip leather seats that recline? Rather than commuter style seating? and an aft lavatory?
I was just thinking why not make another model for it

Aye!
👍👍
PC-12 still king
agreed.... except that the PC-12 requires 3X the amount of runway this thing needs.... 3X. That's the niche.

Hum... so it does not STOL so great and it also does not fly so fast, or so high. It also looks like a hump wale. I therefore wonder.
