    What's so disturbing about this case is that it doesn't fit the normal motives for murder. No love, money, jealousy, etc. He tried to murder an entire family just because they irritated him. That is chilling

    Let it be known that another family member was tested and had traces of Thallium in their body. Wanna know who? A baby. If I remember right it was their granddaughter or niece. She too was also treated but she ended up turning out alright and made a recovery.
    So he didn’t just poison Peggy, he poisoned most of her family.
    Peggy was also taken off life support, that’s how she officially died. Her body had taken too much damage, and the medically induced coma only slowed her deterioration very minorly.

    George probably had a social-communication disorder. Based on your description it sounds like he was eccentric, awkward, shy, and had anxieties around communication. He also appears to have sensory processing issues, especially with sound such as with the children's noise and the radio sounds in Peggy's home and in prison. Smart and in MENSA, another clue. His history of flaunting all prosocial measures points to comorbid antisocial personality disorder which is the part of him that committed these crimes. Nothing here excuses what he did and he is vile and awful and thankfully in jail. I am interested in criminal profiles though, and these are the pieces I have put together of this guy's profile.

    • @medea27
      @medea27 Год назад +9

      A few extra points you might find interesting... the boxloads of chemicals & lab equipment mentioned @ 12:05 that George relocated to the Sebring house was mostly for manufacturing LSD, and the FBI found notebooks where George had noted his LSD "recipes" and reviewed each concoction. I suspect that a lot of his sensory issues stem from (or were at least magnified by) the chemicals he'd been partaking in. And he was less the shy, anxious MENSA-type, and more the derisive, abrasive type who looked down on others as intellectually inferior... zero empathy, which made the secret room & bondage gear they found quite disturbing. Susan Gorek did a phenomenal job of navigating his personality & getting close to him as "Sherry".

    • @AidenRKrone
      @AidenRKrone Год назад

      The perpetrator's race was determined by looking at previous, similar cases. Most cases involving covert poisonings have been committed by middle-aged white males. There have of course been cases of blacks, Hispanics, and other races using toxins and poisons to secretly murder people, but by and large poisoning is a white male's method of murder.

      @@poindextertunes You usually need much more than that - 'well, then who?', for a criminal conviction.
      Since then I actually read the judge's appeal rejection, but it's not too illuminating (there needs to be some defect in the procedures, such as evidence wrongly allowed or suppressed; it's extremely rare for a judge to just overrule what the jury decided was 'reasonable' in 'beyond reasonable doubt', even if they should).
      The most glaring omission is not establishing whether there was a reason for the thallium to be there. Saying it can be used in meth synthesis is extremely flimsy - it's an unusual process to use, and where's the evidence of other substrates/leftovers to show that was actually the synthesis route used?
