    this is how to selection text without selection any, it's paint the masked area. just simply use color correction and adjust them for only black thin part like that.

    Why use multiple black layers? Couldn’t you get the same look by splitting the slider on a single layer in the blend if panel to select a range in the dark areas?

      I personally would have used levels. A few clicks and I get the same result. Without trying it's hard to say exactly which method I would use, but I know damn sure I could get it cleaner than this in less time
      They just seem to get popular influencers doing these things rather than actual designers that know what they're doing and understand how clean an actual image would need to look when professionally handing artwork over to a client.

    Yeah... but the text looked fringy and dirty on the edges. How did you refine it? You showed the final image without explaining that.
