Regarding the localization, Janet Hsu has been the lead of the team for I believe most of the mainline series. While I think she didn't have a lead role in the first game, from the second game onward she has basically been the main head of the localization team and was instrumental in the intricate writing of The Great Ace Attorney. All the little details of being accurate to the historical elements of both the English and Japanese language, as well as casting voice actors that had simliar backgrounds to Naruhodo and Susato in TGAA was Janet's work. What’s so fascinating to me about this case is how Miles knew specifically of how the time he could be acquitted for the DL-6 incident was drawing quickly for a close. Earlier on, we know Edgeworth as this cocky bastard who has a stick so far up his own ass, but underneath he was struggling with the turmoil of his own guilt. Then, he commits one of the humblest actions we’ve ever seen: admitting he’s guilty in a case that would’ve became nil the next day. And in doing so, through all of Von Karma’s pride and arrogance, Miles’ single action of humility, completely undoes him.
Yeah and it's especially sweeter that even when Karma was hoping for that to happen and complete his revenge, Phoenix knew there's more to the story and helped unraveled the whole truth and freed Edgeworth. One of more satisfying moments in the series.
Larry Butz might be one of the most annoying guys ever to exist, but he's also technically kind of responsible for our epic gay lawyer romance, so I guess that gets him a pass.

Hey Crystaaahl, I would recommend waiting a little bit before starting Apollo Justice, as Investigations is, canonically, next in the time line for the ace attorney series.
Manfred von Karma is EASILY one of the best or THE best Ace Attorney villains in the entire series including spinoffs! He is so meticulous and detestable in the best ways possible, very intimidating, and has his roots firmly planted into EVERYTHING! Trust me when I say that the damage that Manfred caused is WIDESPREAD throughout the series and it's not just because of Edgeworth. DL-6 is THE big Ace Attorney case. He's a villain you just love to hate.
43:41 This is low key my favorite line in the entire game. It comes from the most unexpected person. No one would expect von Karma to do something like this. You know, it's kinda wild that the girl with the craziest theories ever is still struggling with the fact that in these games the truth IS INDEED the craziest one
The model of the pistols used at both the lake and during the DL-6 incident is the High Standard Supermatic Citation. It’s a 22 caliber target pistol, so it’s highly doubtful that it was the bailiff’s duty sidearm, even though that’s what Edgeworth suggests. Compared to other guns across the series, its evidence image and its appearance in flashbacks is highly accurate to the real thing, with the only inaccuracy being that the hole in the barrel is too big during the “Merry Christmas” cutscene. As a side note, I have a head canon that Von Karma sent the same pistol used in the DL-6 incident to Yogi. The pettiness of framing Miles for shooting Hammond with the same gun that Miles thinks he killed his father with is very in character for Von Karma.
