All of a sudden my 2016 JK flashed a "left turn signal bulb not working." Luckily I was near O'Reilly's and picked up the bulbs. Then to youtube and was fortunate to have found your video. Thanks for very clear demonstration on how to replace the bulb and the caveats during replacement. Thumbs up in 2023
Thank you! With your help i was able to replace my taillight bulbs by myself, in a n autoparts store parking lot. This gave me confidence to buy the paw grills for my lights too!
Before checking out this video I took the screws out and was thinking the top would come off of the light...and of course those are sealed on there. Then the rest of the fixture didn't really want to come free. So, this video showed me that I could just pull a bit harder to get the fixture off...from there it all went pretty easily. Thanks for the video.
Great video! Thank you sooo much. The same exact thing happened to me!! I took off my paw print taillight covers and totally forgot to put the screws back in! I went to the store and heard a clicking/banging noise and low and behold my taillight was hanging off and that same piece was missing! Glad I'm not alone LOL
This did help me understand the correct method for removing them from the car but unfortunately, I had already removed all 4 screws and broke the plastic filler piece in the process. What I was hoping to find though was how to remove the wiring harness. Those connectors are always a b**ch to figure out. Thanks for the informative video. It will help when I replace the other taillight here in a few minutes.
So those two screws that you do *not need to take out hold sort of concave spacer onto the back of the housing right? I need to replace that spacer on my wife's jeep. The fittings that the screws thread into are cheap plastic and their totally broken, screws have nothing to thread into. Do you have any idea where I can find those? They literally do not exist online anywhere that I can find.
I installed the same rear tail light and they look great, but after installing them I am getting interference on the rear view camera. When I disconnect the rear driver side tail lamp interference is gone :-(
@@HowToWithJames I get vertical and horizontal lines intermediately, and some image distortion is now present. Backup camera is still usable, but not as clear as before. I will have a tech check the wiring and the ground and see if we can clear up the image.
I saw online where someone with this problem fixed it by using a ground loop isolator. That is a cheap try if you want to do that. Either way good luck. Thanks for watching!
Hello, we are an amazon seller for Jeep Wrangler's lights. Would you like to make a video about our new product, S taillights? We can send you our product sample.
I am not a professional or claim to be but I will show on this channel projects I am working on. In most cases I have already done the project or job and now I am recording it to upload. If you think I am not doing a good job then please move on to another channel or at least point out what I could have done to make the video better. Nothing about your comment is constructive. Maybe that was your intent.

Well you saved me from breaking my tail light housing. I was sure the 4 screws would release the lens and I could change the bulb.

Thank u
Great video 👍
Thanks!
what is the name of the piece and can i get just that not the tail light?
You have to buy the whole assembly to get the plastic piece. They don't sell it separately. I linked to the assembly in the video description.

What type of interference? My first thought is make sure you have a good ground.
