Turned out amazing! Your stuff always looks so effortless for you. I picture you making this the day before it was due. "Oh yeah I have to make a dagger for that challenge." 😁
It’s cool that I’ve been able to watch you acquired all your machinery and your blacksmithing tools. Following along as you got better and better. Although you started out pretty skilled.
Your works are beautiful. Quick question, why are your knife tangs always so narrow? With no distal taper? Blade and tang both with distal taper offer strength and usually longevity. Just curious if there's a method to this function.
Called fractal strength -- it boils down to how he hammers the metal tang more dense to less further out. He made a video on it a while ago. It has a better feel overall for the holder and offers similar strength, but it more complicated a procedure and needs a master Smith's hand
Really impressed by how precise you are with the power hammer! First time I've seen a knife build like this that doesn't rely on a belt sander and death wheel to shape the knife from a blank. Fantastic work on the guard and pommel - the dagger looks amazing! 👍
Everything about this dagger screams "Vintage." You are an artist, and it seems like you have done this more than a couple of times, the way you made the fuller in the blade and then the hollow ground blade using the press, it looked like it was effortless for you. You did a fantastic job and every dagger I have seen being made so far is an incredible piece of work, your is the same way, and it seems like it is going to boil down to which maker you like the best or the dagger you like the best, because the finished product from each maker is a seriously beautiful work of art in it's own right, being made in their own way with plus sides and down sides. This is going to be a very hard decision to make for all of those who intend on voting! Fantastic work my friend, I have subscribed to your channel because I love how effortless you made the entire piece look. RESPECT!
A money saving and safety tip. When working on the grinder, belt sander or anything else that 'sparks', ditch those cloth/rubber grip gloves for a pair of deer or goat skin leather gloves! The softer deer/goat leather is more 'supple' and flexible than cow hide leather, so you still have GREAT dexterity and 'feeling' along with a good grip too, but more importantly they won't catch FIRE and if you slip with a grinding disk they'll save YOUR hide on your hands a lot better than flimsy cloth! (been there DONE that!) I usually get a size that fits a bit tight, then I use some "saddle soap", or soak them in water for an hour to stretch them and wear them for a bit till they dry for a good 'skin tight' fit! Best of all they can last a LONG time too, for at least a couple years if not many more!
Great video, I chose yours as the winner, simple and historic in design, I'm sure most probably missed but it's interesting that your vise is from the former USSR. Good luck in the challenge
Paper, cabbage and pineapples are fine. But I think we’d all agree the only way of testing a dagger like that is by driving through the still beating heart of your sworn enemy.
Enjoy your work many times and your craftsmanship is great Thanks for competing and you all are awesome. I'm sorry I voted to soon but still watching and truly not shur which on I voted for but it was as I thought dagger should be for functions Thanks for showing
I watched all the videos finally and yours was the last one I seen. You're getting my vote. This dagger is everything I believe a dagger should be. Truly a functional work of art. Inspiring work.
Watched the lot yours is v cool, I liked a couple of others, one guy made an excellent chefs knife, several other dont understand that the basic requirement for a dagger is to be a stabbing weapon
Nice. It would have been cool to see the pommel washer formed to hug the pommel curve and the bottom of the handle curve to tie it togeather. It pulled my eye away from the blade. Nice work though for sure. One day I hope I can make something as good.
WoW mate that is one awesome looking dagger . I think the Challenge is a grate idea , Every one gets to show they're own style . But at in the end every one is a winner . Cheers . :)
Just a tip: this is not a knife, the tongue is too narrow for a combat weapon. This would break pretty easily in a real situation. A dagger could be used to reflect the attack of a larger blade. The forces involved could reach the scales of a axe cutting a tree.
Oh man I like this !! 👍👍Your skill is amazing ......I love the way you made that handle 😳 it fits so well with everything about this little dagger it is so perfect !! Fantastic work !! I love your channel !!👍👍
Georgeous blade! Reminds me a bit of Mehrunes Razor. Is such a small tang strong enough for such a blade? I got no idea and would hate to see such a beauty break!
Excelente ! una locura como siempre . necesitamos ver tu taller ( Work sho tour ) !!( es increible como progresas tan rapido ) veo todos tus videos! un saludo desde argentina y lo mejor para vos bro!

Looks like something straight out of the ancient world. Excellent work!

Great video and amazing build! I love it! 👍🏻

4:03 that moment when you use a #2 pencil for your tang...
Awesome build. Love the shape of the dagger. Fit and finish is where I find the most difficulty when I made mine.
00:21 - I recognize that hammer! I just watched that video like a half hour ago. I’m binging your videos on this cold Saturday morning… 💪💪💙
It's a nice knife! Skills, shooting, and video editing are all excellent.👍
That's one of the most beautiful pieces of blade i have seen on RUclips. Kudos to your craftsmanship
Great work Gader! I love the way you made the pommel!

Amazing build! I love the way you left the fuller, guard and pommel. Good luck!!
Dude I loved how you forged in the fuller! Excellent craftsmanship! A+ on the entire dagger
Fantastic! Best of luck in the competition. So great that you guys are doing this. Everybody is a winner, especially the viewers
Very Nice work! Love it! ⚒
Man... I'm loving that power hammer! Solid work as always, sir
Red Beard Ops, my thoughts exactly. That made quick work instead of beating on it with hammer for hours.

I love that you didn't glue it all together. That's a really rare thing it seems.
Whenever I get the notification, I come fast to this channel. First "like" then watch the video. These protects are pure art.
It's a beauty. It looks like a dagger length version of the Sword of Truth.
Very nice! That turned out amazing!
Love the texture left on the dagger. Looks like it was meant to be used, and not just for show. Awesome work.
Leave Tyrell alone!
Damn! I do like that blade!!! Excellent work, just fabulous!
WOW!! Love this one , so rustic and as ever .. great skill shown in the making👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻. Make me wonder how they did it in Medieval times !! Bravo 👏🏻
Paper, cabbage and pineapples are fine. But I think we’d all agree the only way of testing a dagger like that is by driving through the still beating heart of your sworn enemy.
I enjoy watching you work. 😊 It's relaxing for me. FYI, your voice is awesome.
Once scrap, now treasure! Very cool! The knights of old would carry it with pride!
Superb ... as usual.
just one thing, though: If you could change the pommel shape a bit, you can call it a ballock dagger, for extra coolness points.
I like how you didn't try to be fancy. Even brand new this piece looks like it's been through a couple of wars haha. Great looking knife.
My favorite so far. Love how you kept it rough not polished. Cheers
Enjoy your work many times and your craftsmanship is great
Thanks for competing and you all are awesome.

ottimo lavoro, come sempre. Mi sarebbe però piaciuto, vederla lucida e con la lame damascata... Una figata ! 👍🔝😀
Just AWESOME !!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
CONGRATS !! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻😎

Very authentic looking dagger. Great job
Looks like roman gladius! Nice SPQR!!
Not gonna lie. Thought you were crafting Mehrune's Razor for a sec. Damn nice looking blade man. Thank you for sharing.
nice work. i really like the fact you didnt grind the middle section, makes it look kinda old but well maintained
Good job, I like the shape that the groove along the spine give to the knife!
Very well done
I think you're the best in the world at what you do. I hope you never stop.
Wow. Brilliant! Super sharp too.
Nice. It would have been cool to see the pommel washer formed to hug the pommel curve and the bottom of the handle curve to tie it togeather. It pulled my eye away from the blade. Nice work though for sure. One day I hope I can make something as good.
You constantly hit cold steel, it would not be surprising if your blades are full of cracks
That dagger is so sharp, even Sharp would say it's sharp!
Great video as always! The pommel is giving me flashbacks to when I stocked shelves at Target🤣
Beautiful job. Nice sword. Please make a throwing knife. So that the center of gravity has in the blade.
The dagger kinda reminds me of a Morgul blade or something the Nazgul would have from LoTR
really amazing craftsman ship!!
It looks a lot like Mehrune's razor from elder scrolls games.
Neat looking dagger...it looks a relic of ancient times. I hope your dagger gets first place🗡👍👌
Man!! You make it look so easy! Amazing job. Beautiful.
Excellent result. Next time do weapon testing on fruits and vegetables. I'd like to see you cut a watermelon, or a pumpkin.
Gooood afternoon from central Florida! Hope everyone has a great day!
WoW mate that is one awesome looking dagger . I think the Challenge is a grate idea , Every one gets to show they're own style . But at in the end every one is a winner . Cheers . :)
I like how you kept it rough B.B.! Great job

Just what I was thinking
But... it's "tang" not "tongue".
Tonge is "lengua".
When I hear the word dagger or when people ask, or I think of one, this is the exact style I think of, very nice!
this is pure medival design! Similar to Dustin, I like the way you made a pommel! Great Work Gader!
Absolutely beautiful and professional. Thanks 🙏
Great blade. Enjoyed watching you shape that guard also!
Love the aesthetics of this dagger.
Wow, really beautiful! Good luck!
I was already subscribed but I am watching this video from Tyrell Knifeworks dagger challenge.
You have achieved Wizard-level skills on both the Hydraulic Press and the Power Hammer
That is a beautiful dagger. Love your work.
Martin from Wales.
That is a Master piece. Looks like what the Roman's carried.
I was gonna say the same, its more like a Gladius short sword than a dagger. Quality work though
I sure as heck wouldn't want to be facing that blade. Could double as a spearhead with a simple modification
Superb. I love the medieval vibe of it.
Cool looking dagger from scrap, i just moved so ive still yet to sort the workshop out, totally itching to get forging again
Love the texture left on the dagger.
Отличная работа!
Привет из Беларуси! 🇧🇾
Hi black Beard beautifully done good job my friend
Really great build! Nice work.
I like the forge more, grind less approach. Dagger turned out really nice.
Great video, amazing grinding that. big wheel is
Something else...
I like the unpolished look to it. Looks used and ready for action.
Oh man I like this !! 👍👍Your skill is amazing ......I love the way you made that handle 😳 it fits so well with everything about this little dagger it is so perfect !! Fantastic work !! I love your channel !!👍👍
Your knife making skills are incredible. I could watch your videos all day.
Awesome knight dagger, man. Nice work.
A truly beautiful piece of work …👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🙏🏻
Very beautiful knives sir. You are a true craftsman
I love how old you made it look!!!
That's the winner right there! Awesome dagger!
That is a very beautiful dagger. The finish is amazing and looks very cool! Good luck in the challenge! 👍
What is Course name please tell
Real clean work! Nice one!
Beautiful design! Such a classic, iconic dagger style, and beautifully executed!
Dude retrieved and reforged the pieces of Mehrunes Razor without his help
Latest video from us about the world of decentralized technology, Happy watching, Don't Forget the criticism and suggestions ❤️
That dagger turned out pretty sweet!
Forging in the fuller rather than machining it was nice. It's a good size; almost a short sword. That poor _cavolo_ didn't stand a chance.
Woah! Those lines are crisp!
I am so glad I subscribed to your channel all those mo ths ago. You get better with ever video.
Nice work, it's like a sword for a tiny knight.
9:21 is really impressive hammer skills.
I did not know humans could move that fast
Georgeous blade! Reminds me a bit of Mehrunes Razor. Is such a small tang strong enough for such a blade? I got no idea and would hate to see such a beauty break!
OMG, this is freaking insane high quality stuff. Congrats, man, that's art right there! 👏
