I like this video because I like digging. The deeper, the better. You never know what’s down there

Found you after Skapegoat made an Out of Ore video and I was looking for more game content. Love the narration and how you share some of your own knowledge of the game (i.e. how to set up controls and do certain things.) I also like the relaxing nature of the game and your video content. I do like watching the digging, and I can't wait to watch the rest of the videos in this series to see how you automate a few things

Welcome! I found Skapegoat a while back while looking for My Garage content and enjoy his videos. Small world.
There's also a season 2 of out of ore and you can find that in my playlists along with everything else. I do plan to start a season 3 at some point when I can find time. Happy digging!

I found out how counterproductive it was to try leveling out a pile with the bucket just like you did lol. Created one monsterous mess and then out came the pick axe to save me.

North Modding has come a long way. They made some pretty decent mods for Farm Sim. Glad to see they have branched out, but I hope they don't take on more than they can handle. I played Court Farm for about 4 hours last night, then this morning, I decided to go digging for stuff. Needless to say, Farm Sim muscle memory kicked my rear end bad. I beat my spacebar to death, trying to shuttle dirve the loader. I did get the keybinds set up the same as I have in Farm Sim, which helps when I'm in the loader. Unfortunately I haven't been able to figure out the same set up for the exavator. Can't wait to see where this game goes, and hope for easier control layout.

A gearbox and shuttle control would be great!

Awesome video as always, really enjoyed the little spice of Colonel Failure at the end there :P I'm thinking of getting the game myself, it seems like a lot of fun. Hopefully they involve more physics soon, would be cool to create rock dams and stuff lol

NMC made some of my favourite mods in fs19, its a shame they didnt make much of a return on fs22. its pretty cool that they dove into making their own game though!

I ended up trying it last night...setting up the washplant thing and getting it efficient sound like a super fun task...but then running the machinery...feels very clumsy...I tried with keyboard, controller and joystick, but it never felt quiet right or look like what you do :D A side note...I tried to use keyboard and joystick at the same time, but they cant be used concurrently, which is a little sad :/
Anyways, hope you'll build us up a nice mine-emporium I can checkout each day :D

I've done a LOT of front loader work in Farm Sim in the past so running a wheel loader is natural. Otherwise it would take a lot of practice. The controls setup was completely redone for this patch and I hope it will continue to improve. Running an excavator feels like I have 3 left thumbs because I don't have that muscle memory to fall back on

you can use joystick and keyboard at the same time, i do. I also use joy stick keyboard and wheels/pedals at the same time.

@@Not_Tony I tried it, but when I press a key, the joystick movements are ignored until I release the keyboard key.

Im just getting interested in the game and came across your channel and im digging it! *ba-dum-tss* lol but thats awesome if tge devs started out as modders for FS i seen videos on how difficult modding is but thats using giants architecture and software but to start from scratch is really something else!

@KerboOnYT don't get me wrong I love the halo franchise and farm Sim but these smaller titles from smaller devs like out of ore, satisfactory, space engineers etc give you so much bang for your buck and to a degree the gaming community contributes to quality of life changes or add a feature that the devs otherwise may not of thought of. We are truly in the golden age of gaming!

I really like the way the dirt is reabsorbed by the ground if you drop it. Curious: does this game have rivers or lakes? Just wondering how it would handle that.

I am conflicted about watching you play this game. First I like watching your content, but considering I'm Construction H&S, I feel like I'm at work. So on that note... Great content, and good job with excavation shoring. Cant help but notice, you're not wearing gloves or your hard hat. Gonna need to be issued some proper PPE, if they want this to be realistic.

Yes, we need proper gear. A way to customize your character would be nice as well. Thanks for watching!
