I tried your spices in a stir fry with mushrooms and imitation crab. You make everything you eat look so good. It was amazing. I added some coconut amino acids cause I’m gluten-free. My husband liked it as well. Also, my dr has me take vitamin c with iron. She says it offsets the constipating factor in iron. FYI. I don’t watch anyone on a regular basis but you. I’ve added you to my prayer list. Your honesty, cleanliness, and work ethics are good virtues to have. Stay warm!!

Hi Naomi (do you crack up at all the nicknames we’ve given you?). May I suggest until you get that foam insulation for the wall you sleep against, that you pull your bed out full and sleep towards the middle of the van? That way that cold window and wall won’t seep into you bones. Another suggestion, get a small piece of wax paper, parchment paper, etc. and pour your green powder on that before pouring into your juice bottle. Makes a nice funnel with no waste or glop around the neck of your bottle. Peace out. ✌️

Excited to see you again, I was in the hospital a couple of busy days preparing for surgery to fuse my spine the day after Thanksgiving. The result of 31 years as a nurse. It might sound strange to be looking forward to this surgery but I can't exercise, can't stand longer than 1/2 hour. So you have been my inspiration & within 2 weeks the doctor said I would be walking a mile a day. Can't wait to do that while you are at the track. Eat with you, exercise with you, you are helping me make positive changes quietly & easily in my life. Thanks for being there & helping me without lectures, just being you. Stay safe & warm , you are certainly valued by many people.

Get yourself a wool blanket from an Army Surplus store..use it on top of your couch/bed..under your blanket/sleeping bag. Wool is an insulator. If you are sandwiched between two wool blankets…that’s even better!
I was a vegetarian for 14 years had to start back with meats because I wasn't getting enough B12 so my Dr. put me on b12 IM injections later I was able to maintain with the sublingual method, this is because the lack of b12 for such a long period of time damaged my intrinsic factor so I wasn't able to absorb it by mouth. So be careful

Hey “M” state girl! I just got off my scooter (from foot infection) last week and am still trying to strengthen my leg and foot walking more. You walking before a long shift ( and I think you work on your feet) really inspired me to keep going! Sometimes I get so tired and want to give up. It’s just been such a long haul. I needed this! Also, yes always take B12 if eating more plant based. It is the one nutrient we cannot get from plants. Next time you go to dr, ask them to do just a simple blood test, and that will let you know your levels. I actually take 2 pills every morning. I felt relief with one, but better with two. But, that was something I had to work out with doc. 💗ya ~ from The Ohio State alumni 🤣🤣🤣
I sure hope you didn't hit the track before you had to go to work because of what possible nay sayers are saying. Just know you work long hours and put in almost 6 day work weeks weekly. Get your rest and as much of it as possible. Get the rest you need for you. You still have to rest and be hydrated for those 16 hours shifts you put in. I don't want you drained before work. My goodness girl, take it easy. I hope everything works out and you make it throughout your shift. TAKE CARE OF YOU!!!!
Something good to add to dishes like your rice with walnuts and Teriyaki sauce is bean sprouts and or sliced water chestnuts. Gives great added crunch and texture.

You are definitely right about how important taking B Vitamins are. My mom, in her thirties, suffered from debilitating migraines. She went to a specialist and he told her to start taking B-Complex daily. She still got the migraines but they were less frequent and a lot less painful. Then when I started getting them in my late twenties, I started taking it as well. Its a game changer, especially for me, since I get sinus migraines. They are horrible. Stay Warm! Stay Safe! Peace.
I used to take 11+ vitamins/supplements daily (B Complex included) when I was in my 20's/30's, and I went through periods where I didn't have many migraines, (had my 1st @ age 9 & didn't know what was going on). But now I find 30 years later that when I try 2 get back on vitamins, I get headaches. Can't do a lot of spices, that sets them off. That cayenne she used would kill me. I can do a half of shake when I make chili but that's all. I only eat meat 10-11 times a year (chili included) & then feel I like crap, I can even smell meat coming off of my skin afterwards. 🥵

I'm coming back to watch videos I missed but I wanted to say I just bought my husband a heating jacket and it's comfy nice and amazing it really works they have sleeping bags long johns all kinds of stuff and there great prices on Amazon you charge the battery and use it it when you need it it some last for 6-10 hours heating time you should definitely look into some of those..

My doc put me on b12 cause i was so low. I was also amazed at how much better I feel. I am now also taking b3 with vit c. My brain fog and fatigue is clearing up and I feel so much more alive.

Hi I just started watching your videos. I commend you for van living. I'm a recent amputee and I was listening to you abut what you eat. I think I might try going meatless and see how it goes. Since the lost of my leg due to diabetes, I have put on some weight. I can't move around until I get my prosthetic so I can't burn off what I eat. I love your videos and I'm glad that you got the tint fixed on your van.
Try soaking ur nuts In hot water 1st 4 about 20 min, it makes a huge difference in the texture, makes it more meat consistency. U can boil them in seasonings too for more flavor. Thx 4 sharing!

I'm coming back to watch videos I missed but I wanted to say I just bought my husband a heating jacket and it's comfy nice and amazing it really works they have sleeping bags long johns all kinds of stuff and there great prices on Amazon you charge the battery and use it it when you need it it some last for 6-10 hours heating time you should definitely look into some of those..

Hi I just started watching your videos. I commend you for van living. I'm a recent amputee and I was listening to you abut what you eat. I think I might try going meatless and see how it goes. Since the lost of my leg due to diabetes, I have put on some weight. I can't move around until I get my prosthetic so I can't burn off what I eat. I love your videos and I'm glad that you got the tint fixed on your van.

Try soaking ur nuts In hot water 1st 4 about 20 min, it makes a huge difference in the texture, makes it more meat consistency. U can boil them in seasonings too for more flavor. Thx 4 sharing!

You mentioned putting your mix on a hoagie and I immediately mentally cut tricolor peppers in strips, cut up half an onion, got my pan ready and made my mix then got the Jack cheese and pan toasted my roll and put it together. Beware, in my mind this is a 3 napkin meal!
