a great fight contest between two amazing contenders ..... far less enjoyable were the overload of annoying comments via the 5+ announcers interruptions to the point that i shut down my audio

You can clearly see brown landing more punches and kicks . Ended rounds on top. Punching his opponent while on top. These judges are a diiscrase to the sport and should be fired.

These judges are pros and the call was correct.
The commentators were bias on calling the fight because they were instructed to push Brown for business reasons.
Re-watch it with the sound on mute and in half speed to tally actual strikes.
Very biased commentators, they should try to remain neutral.
Brown was punished for being winded. Leal was rewarded for "potential". Trouble is, Brown was far more effective and entertaining.

Carlos leal foi pra cima nao fujiu da luta .. ganhou na raça do outro lutador e ganhou tambem.dos comentaristas que só falavam do outro lutador quando acertava e se calavam aos golpes do brasileiro .. assim tentando promover o brow .. comentaristas vendidos . Só fala merda no meio.da luta . Sem capacidade nenhuma para tal cargo
Was in the amateur and pro mma game in production and training assistance and I’ve noticed a serious issue in the industry and this fight is a good example.
First I must say I’m 8.5/10 on calling fights. Consistently made a large amount of money from knowing the game in and out.
Ok, PFL commentators have an agenda that involves pushing individual fighters using words to bolster a narrative over another.
This is in contrast to the Commissions honest judgement and officiating.
Having guests to add their uneducated opinion is a tactic that’s currently being used , again to bolster one over another.
Whiz Has no clue what’s he’s doing there and Ray Lewis? I believe he’s the ex-nfl player for the Ravens. If it is him then a simple look at his criminal record you will be shocked to see what he’s done and still walking free to spite it.
This is an unusual choice to represent a league of any type.
The focus here is on Brown because they were told to push Brown for promotion reasons.
His opponent throughout the fight showed much better cardio , stamina and overall striking.
Browns flailing kicks are indeed unorthodox because it’s a lot of wasted energy with no real power behind most of them.
It looks cool but that doesn’t win fights.
Spite this heavy bias by commentators , the Athletic Commission doesn’t sway by influence. The judges do not subscribe to it either. Brown is a fun fighter to watch but implementing bias over another fighter is not how the industry should work and never had until recently.
Now expect more of this to become the status quo as the country and world have figured out ways to affectively manipulate the viewers perspectives by painting a positive picture to most fans that know little of the sport and using tactics like calling shots from one fighter with excitement while ignoring the other fighters punches actually doing more damage.
They are slick at this tactic to not be too apparent at there bias but to the trained eye you can detect this practice by these leagues for promotional purposes.
This leaves the best fighters on the planet , most of the best care not for notoriety or belts, they simply enjoy annihilating opponents for fun, but they do not subscribe to this adage these leagues impose on fighters.
So we get some great fighters desperate for money and a ton of mediocre fighters that look the part.
But, all the fighters in these leagues have one thing in common. They must deal with the added bullshit that makes the actual fight minuscule compared to the pain, training, interviews, guest appearances and cameras and staff always in the way before, during in the ring, and after the fights.
I love the sport and been a part of it for four decades but it’s a far cry from the glory years of the past.

The judges need to be whipped tared and feathered and run out of town on a rail never to be allowed to judge any contest ever. Also they should have to pay back double what they were payed to throw the fight.
I totally agree not even the commentators or even the guess commentators new that was totally wrong there is not way the brasilian won that no way Brown is the real winner hands down they cheats and racists pigs they really are
