John is just so so great, probably the best male vocalist of all time. You can see and hear the passion and emotion John puts into every word. Even at this young age he has so much maturity and natural talent and it’s hard to believe but he just got better and better. Epic.
Another superb performance from John Farnham. It's all so effortless. He's up on stage having fun. John's concerts were epic, usually at least a couple of hours performing at this level. Phenomenal.
A beautiful song. I was only yesterday listening to John in LRB singing *Forever Blue* Sadly no video of it but the lyrics and John’s voice are hauntingly wonderful.
@@rickandersen2284 in Holland it went well?? Beautiful, not very well known as much as other LRB songs. Oh I remember Stephen Foster from decades ago. His name on an album I didn’t associate him with, can’t remember which one, but remember thinking, wonder if he’s related to me lol, knew he wasn’t, but my paternal grandmother was a Foster .
This is my favorite song by them. I have done it myself In karaoke 😊. This is a different singer than I know. I love a couple of their songs, Reminiscing, Face In The Crowd, Night Owl. All of their music has great harmonies and great instrumental work.
It was probably Glenn Shorrock version that you would have heard on the radio as he was the original lead singer when the song was recorded. John's version was sung at concerts. not sure if it was released on any of the albums that he recorded whilst with the group. John's version added a little Pizazz to the song and I love the way he sings it but Glenn's version is still stuck in my memory bank and being the way it should be. Try John and LRB with We Two or Down on the Border ❤❤
To be honest, Ron, I am not as familiar with Mr.Farnham's work, other than your reactions. His talent is undeniable. I've loved LRB since I was a teenager, and this song is probably my favorite . I am currently on vacation at Cape Hatteras, on the outer banks of North Carolina. There's a 3/4 moon that is highlighting the crest of each incoming wave. Absolutely stunning! In the background I'm listening to "cool change " its just fitting . Thank you, Ron.
Hi John. I hadn't heard of John Farnham until I started the channel. He is excellent. I had heard LRB before but probably not when John was with them. Although I have never been to Cape Hatteras, I can picture the scene from other places I've been. I used to love swimming in moonlight. (I still would but don't get to a large enough body of water these days. My neighbour's huge puddles after a rainstorm don't quite cut it.) This song would accent the experience you're having perfectly. Enjoy your vacation! 🙂
I much prefer the original version with Glenn Shorrock who wrote the song Cool Change. The 3 original singers were Glenn, lead singer, Beeb Birtles and Graeham Goble, to me they were the sound of LRB.

He is amazing. 🙂
John is just the G.O.A.T. and adds so much more passion and emotion to a song. Love John ❤😂🎉
He's incredible! 🙂
Love this. We Two is another one from this concert is brilliant as well. Worth checking out. Thanks for the reaction.
