This is Juno from their debut EP called Between Order and Model. It was reborn as Juneau on their debut album (as you all know) with the "unnecessary" screaming removed. I think I like this version (the original that is) the most.
To everyone who don't like screams in songs, I would like to tell you something. About 3 years ago I only listened to Silverstein's songs without screams but when I got older I realized that screams doesn't ruin songs. They give them more power, that's the reason I started looking for musik like this instead of avoiding it.
Seriously i cant have enough of this song, it's massively underrated and goddamn i cant put it into words THIS SONG IS FUCKING AMAZINGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG
This is why this band is so exceptional - a great lead singer and a drummer whose screams can turn your body inside out..magnificent...pretty close to the greatest British rock band.
I grew up listening to this song. It means a LOT to me. I just found it in a playlist i made. Too bad the screamo version isn’t in Spotify. I hate this so much. Does someone know where is this version of the song from?
This version is the original version of the song recorded for the 2002 EP 'Between Order and Model'. It was subsequently rerecorded and rearranged for the album Casually Dressed and Deep in Conversation which was released over a year later.
@thatguyonstage ur right, this isnt screamo, but for the record post hardcore is in reference to the instruments and screamo usually has to do with the lyrics/vocals
i remember when i found this band out about 4 years ago. this was the first song i heard from them and right away i thought that they are good in my opinion i prefer the first 2 albums than the most recent ones but they are a good ass band sucks i forgot about them for a while hahah
Got my info from buying the original demo of Juno before Juneau came out back at FFAF's show supporting Waterdown in 2006ish, if somebody else stated it don't put it forth as a clarification.
@bitemarks69 'Screamo' never really existed to start with, it's just a name used to label it. All the 'Screamo' bands are either Post Hardcore or Metalcore
I remember I was 16 when I first watched this video on this channel back when I thought it was hell on earth...little did I know..shit is real today..I was definitely a hormonal teen with blind eyes thinking I knew everything...
Please don't try and clarify things when your information is totally wrong. This is the original (Juno), the second version (Juneau) was created as a poppier alternative, a more marketable single. It has nothing to do with America, also America is not 'the west' in comparison to the UK, both are 'western' nations.
It's a demo version called 'Juno' and theres no such thing as screamo. If your going to make up your own genres be more specific than screaming=screamo. This is post-hardcore, also death metal has a lot of screaming and some punk does too.
i actually agree. I love thi stuff, but i'm much more of just a hardcore kid and have always been into Hatebreed, Terror, Throwdown, Agnostic Front, etc. This screamo style stuff is really really good, but its not really like hardcore at all
I find it funny how, on RUclips you make pointless arguements out of boredom to make people have a go, as you seem to enjoy people pissed off. But yet, if you was infront of one of the people, you'd just focus all that energy into the words "sorry" repeatedly.

@KeNuBort there are 3 versions:

20 FU*CKIN 19
been years and years but this song takes me back to being 16 and the times I shared with friends
This is why this band is so exceptional - a great lead singer and a drummer whose screams can turn your body inside out..magnificent...pretty close to the greatest British rock band.
True but it's not the drummer screaming on this song, they had a second singer/screamer when this was recorded.
This song is from Between Order And Models, one of their EP's. Juneau is from Casually Dressed And Deep In Conversation
I grew up listening to this song. It means a LOT to me. I just found it in a playlist i made. Too bad the screamo version isn’t in Spotify. I hate this so much. Does someone know where is this version of the song from?

i love it in screamo. i love this song, i love this band.
dude i "think" the screamo version is the original.
Between Order And Models EP in 2002 under the name 'Juno' but they braught it back on the album 'Casually Dressed And Deep In Conversation. in 2003.
i dont get it.. why this kind of music is so underrrated
OhItsTiFred because of cutting and pussy emo kids. Music is great but the fans are douche-ey.
this screaming is amazing
However you categorise it - it's brilliant and so are they. One of Britain's best groups without question.
Post hardcore
Just got into them recently. Didnt even know they were British hahaha, good band though
@thatguyonstage ur right, this isnt screamo, but for the record post hardcore is in reference to the instruments and screamo usually has to do with the lyrics/vocals

Got my info from buying the original demo of Juno before Juneau came out back at FFAF's show supporting Waterdown in 2006ish, if somebody else stated it don't put it forth as a clarification.
I agree with the people saying it isn't as polished.. but I like the roughness.
@bitemarks69 'Screamo' never really existed to start with, it's just a name used to label it. All the 'Screamo' bands are either Post Hardcore or Metalcore
Oh, thanks! I need to get a hold of that that EP.

LOL @ "screamo version"
i'm agree
good job it's really awsome
Well, actually, this is the original. They revised this song into the the one you hear in the music video.
this was done with the drummer before casually dressed who drummed on the ep: 'seven ways to scream your name'.
i actually agree. I love thi stuff, but i'm much more of just a hardcore kid and have always been into Hatebreed, Terror, Throwdown, Agnostic Front, etc. This screamo style stuff is really really good, but its not really like hardcore at all
Well, it kind of does matter when you looking for music to listen to but other then that I agree.
I find it funny how, on RUclips you make pointless arguements out of boredom to make people have a go, as you seem to enjoy people pissed off.
