Our mission is to encourage, empower, and inspire people to live a life that Blesses God, in accordance with His word. As the Psalmist proclaims, "Bless God in the great congregation, the Lord, O you who are of Israel's fountain" (Psalm 68:26 ESV), and "Every day will I bless Thee; and I will praise Thy name forever and ever" (Psalm 145:2 KJV). Just as Simeon, after encountering Jesus, "took him up in his arms and blessed God" (Luke 2:28 ESV), we seek to lead others in a life of stewardship, relevant engagement, and practical living that honors and blesses the Lord.

The biggest cause of homelessness is lack of family structure. The breakdown of family directly correlates with homelessness plus a whole slew of other things
Statistically, the biggest cause is lack of affordable housing...
@@BenjaminSaffoldnot true. Because there are many immigrant households with family squeezed in the same house or people being roommates in a small apartment. Sorry society, it's expensive to be single and live alone. That's not a luxury the rest of the world has. Super urbanization is cancer
@@dontewithdragons Not gonna argue with you, bro. You win. Vaya con dios...
Locals can't do their jobs. In Los Angeles, when they asked Mayor Karen Bass what she did with the rest of the money she said she did not know. The housing that she did provide, cost $8k per apartment?! Ridiculous. There are tiny homes in the valley that are just sitting unoccupied. Do they really care about the homeless? The homeless people with mental health issues are on the streets. When I worked downtown, they were constantly attacking random people just walking down the street. Destroying cars. Setting fires. Defecating in public.
Im glad you understand that homes are available and empty. This is intentional and by design. Folks invested in the housing market will not make money if housing is affordable . People are holding on to empty houses so they can charge more: simple supply and demand.
"..worse THAN we thought."
This needs to be pinned😂
No news is gonna make me think Gavin is worse than I already thought 💯😭
… then we thought he’s even worse lol
Trying to fix spiritual problems with pills never works!
Don't forget, California has great weather, and offers an attractive welfare system. And, "solving" homelessness is a huge business ... many people make huge salaries "solving" this problem. Nobody is giving up their job and perks by actually doing their job.
Spot on analysis of homelessness in CA. And Dr. Drew actually called it. He said that when the price of medication starts to conflict the rising cost of living, people stop taking their medication… sometimes they start using street drugs, but for the most part they just stop taking medicine. That causes them to lose jobs & it becomes nearly impossible for them to get back to stability. Spot on when you said “it’s layered”.
I live 30 minutes from San Francisco and live in my car working 84 hours a week and still live in my car
Vote with your feet…leave. I did 24 years ago and never looked back. Best move I ever made (literally and figuratively).
@randomjunk9934 Oh, I plan on it. I'm just saving up for some land, and then I'm out of here! I don't see it getting any better that's for sure 💯
What do you do for work ?
@@ryangraham7012 I'm doing security right now
is san från or california really worth that lifestyle?
Roughly 180 Million for roughly 300 beds. Skid row LA is only a couple square blocks . They need to ALLOW and LOAN money to private institutions for sanitation , to build hospitals and rehabs. They could be MAKING money off interest and fixing this legitimately but they choose to give big deals to their friends. Sincerely from LA
Drugs are part of the problem as well. They give out drug paraphernalia to these addicts. The government is part of the problem. Then the extremely high prices of everything,is criminal.
Gruesome is the worst
I'd really be curious to see what the data is on marijuana use in a region contrasted against rates of mental illness and homelessness in those regions.
We now know factually that regular marijuana use dramatically increases one's risk of psychosis and schizophrenia (like 7x for schizophrenia if you have any genetic predisposition at all). I get the feeling that marijuana use is a silent contributor to this challenge in CA, WA, OR, NY, etc. When I was last in NYC, it smelled like mary jane on like every street corner. Was everywhere.
Gavin has planned this out, create the problem while selling the cure while being unaccountable when mistakes happen
I would love to come on and speak to the homeless issues and the corruption in California maybe on a call in for members. This is my lane. I’m a federal trainer for ending homelessness. You’re partially there in your explanation. Mental health and people who suffer from severe mental health only make up 25% of all homelessness in the US
I love you guys! Please please please keep up the good work.
I can’t believe Newsome is trying to say it’s the locals who need to do the job. I live in a So Cal suburb that was so family friendly 20 years ago. Now we can see at least one (sometimes half naked) aggitated & ranting drug user every time we leave the house. As a woman it makes me nervous to go by myself to buy our (crazy expensive) groceries every week.
So many of our friends have left California & many more plan to. Newsome does not really care about us. Most of our local authorities do care & will do anything they have the power to do but if petty theft, and being publicly intoxicated doesn’t carry a stiff enough penalty these users will be back at it as soon as they’re released.
Personally, I would like to see other states learn from California's mismanagement to better understand how to effectively help its constituents, ESPECIALLY the homeless.
valuable insights and info thanks for posting and sharing thumbs Appreciate you Ruslan
*than. Love you guys!
Man, I dont know but these thumbnails are weird, how is newsom worse than we thought by that tweet, thumbnail is click baity… I guess its the RUclipsr culture that makes them ok…
He's full of demons
There is truth in what you are saying but I believe there is a much bigger spiritual component to this. This is all part of the enemies plan to destroy man, God's creation, and much more.
They should have kept the institutions except made them voluntary. This way some patients could come and go as they please. Only people breaking laws would be held involuntarily for some amount of time, which is how it is currently, at least in Canada. Also, though antipsychotics can help some people with psychotic like problems they are often not enough to eliminate the person's problem.
Let me guess he’s prepping LA for the 2028 Olympics
Sooo if Gavin ordered this state wide clean up…. Where do the homeless people go?
to portland/seattle
@@cassidyraebarrera Considering states nationwide buy homeless people a one way ticket to California. They should be sent back. 🫢
I think Michael Schellenberger has the most well thought out potential first step towards a solution.
Treatment facilities that serve all aspects that lead to people living on the street (in Europe called Open Drug Scenes...because that's what they predominantly are).
He's got excellent research on this
This should've been Weingart Mental Asylum.. The interior of that beautiful building is gonna look like Gotham at it's worst in about 2-3 years.
Some homeless dude is gonna end up crawling behind the walls like that one horror flick lol
Kern county is building new mental health facilities that actually going back to institutionalized but still not enough .
My father's girlfriend works in the pych ward at the county hospital.
Even people who lean left don't like Newsom.
He has destroyed what was left of Calif . What a plague ..

Trans people need to see this.
Im tired of hearing right is the same. They couldnt be more different in ideology so just stop.
Oh so the rapture didn’t happen yet
maybe you should talk more on the homelessness in our cites then on LGBTQ people
why not both
Maybe you should start your own channel, instead of telling others what they should talk about
