I hate how fifa games make forwards have terrible defending just because they are forwards. Wayne Rooney and Harry Kane are great at defending and tackling, maybe better than some gold defenders. The game needs to give players their actual stats, not just stats that fit their position.

How did Harry Kane get an 84 even though his last 2 season have been phenomenal where as Payet who had a decent season at best gets an 86?! Kane was definitely humble, but honestly he is right his shooting should be in the 90s. He's one of the worlds best strikers.

anybody that plays for united pretty much gets a +5 on their rating. It's bullshit
The ratings aren't that indicative of overall player performance. They're determined by a select few stats deemed relevant to each position. Schweinsteiger has good passing and tactical ability, so his "overall stat" is fairly high. But if you use him in game you will find he is also incredibly slow, very poor stamina, poor reflexes and he might even have the "injury prone" trait. So his 86 rating is actually appropriate, but very misleading. As a striker your stat is strongly influenced by heading ability, dribbling, etc. All of which Kane does not excel at and does not deserve an 85+ rating for. But within the game he is a much more effective player than Schweinsteiger. You need to look at all stats when creating your team, not just overall rating. Teams made from high OVR rated players can actually be very shitty teams.
He's not 86 tho

It was a tough pill to swallow in fifa 16 when he got a low overall but this is ridiculous. Guarantee if he was on arsenal or man United he'd be rated at least 89.
lol.. i think having a rating of 89 would make him one of the top 5 outfield players in the world. he's not on that level yet. he's a consistently prolific striker but doesn't have many world class qualities, even his one on one finishing isn't brilliant, he's excellent at crafting opportunities and taking tricky chances, as well as accurate powerful strikes. i think 84 sounds about right, i wouldn't go any higher.
