The Italians (at least online) can't comprehend that people who left their country en masse also developed really delicious food traditions all over the world. They should be proud, not calling it 'fake' and inferior.

@@aaronsirkman8375 Class, representing yourself a certain way, showing respect for the place and the staff. Those are just a few reasons. Why not put forth a little effort to be professional. Is trying that hard to do? Maybe he is playing a character that he thinks he would like to portray. I don't know. Given the option, I'd go with some class.
The whole half minute montage from 14:45 with Ollie reading out his list in earnest enthusiasm while Josh just polishes the desserts is just the kind of stuff i'm here for, and that honest "What do you think?" at the end Oh Ollie you're precious and adorable

I’ve lived in NYC for 27 years. Osteria Mornini is my favorite Italian for all the reasons mentioned. You get a little bit of everything. American Italian classics combined with authentic Italian regional dishes. I am glad you liked it.

I believe Babbish could even go to Korea by himself (with his crew) for a series and it would be spectacular! Especially if he went for a tour of cities less traveled by tourists that are rich in local natural ingredients, with a focus on the more traditional tables Korean families are used to when family gets together
He once went out of the country for a chocolate themed video. Maybe if he makes a kimchee video or something it could happen.

I know Ollie was just trolling with the list of channels for Babbish, but scraping the bottom of the barrel with babbish would be a PHENOMENAL idea. Imagine Andrew has to make a meal but with ingredients that aren’t the best or even leftovers. Basically using whatever you have at your disposal to cook a meal. There are so many spin off challenges you could do as well. It would be an awesome idea

I'm not sure what your process is for accepting sponsorships, but I request that you don't continue with a company that actively harms its clients. There are videos about them detailing this.

People paint Italian food into 1 box and that couldn’t be further from the truth. Italy is relatively a small country, but is loaded with diversity in food. Each region specializes in their own specific techniques and flavors so it’s extremely common to get 10 different meals from 10 different cities. I love Italian food and the more I learn about it, the more I love! Food is a beautiful thing

Very much like India where people try a couple curries in America (and GOOD ones), but then they assume that’s all Indian food is…same with Filipino food or Chinese food or any country that has varied regions and specialties…sometimes you’d never guess a dish is from the country it’s from 😂
@@corgisrule21 I’m Indian, I was even born in India but I was raised in America. You could put an Indian dish in front of me and I couldn’t tell you what it was 😂 I’ve been to Indian restaurants and don’t know half of the food on the menu because it’s not from my region. It’s a very true statement for all cultures
These are some of the foods I grew up with. My mother was so accomplished that people approached her to set up their restaurant kitchens in Manhattan & Queens in the 1960's/1970's. Most of them were Italian but a few were Greek and a few more that were French.
She did everything, Austro-Hungarian, German, Croatian, Belgian etc. She learned from families that migrated pre-WWII and could make anything at a moment's notice.
I once listed how I was taught to do a red sauce to an Italian woman who just stared at me in shock. When I finished describing what I considered basic she responded with; "You're going to have to learn to cope with jealousy".
Thank you for going back to New York and showing how the immigrants established the remarkable foods that are still made there today.

My Grandmother (Born in Sicily) brought a family recipe for Pasta Fritta ("Fried Dough" ), which is our family bread recipe but flattened into 3-4 inch flat circles about a half inch thick and then fried in olive oil. A close recipe of Gnocco Fritto

Why are we held to standards of a single Italian chef? The Italian immigrants to places like USA, Canada, Argentina, Brazil, Uruguay, and many more countries have made amazing sub-cuisines, essentially Italian 'regional' cuisines.
It's an overprotectiveness and arrogance to automatically call all of it inferior.
This was a good one. Love Babish, as himself. You three collaborating together was fun to watch & laugh with.
I have learned so many amazing recipes from Banish content. Things I would have normally thought I did not have the skill to even attempt to make. His content is always fun, informative, and approachable. I really enjoy and appreciate that. It's also lovely to see Josh and Ollie collab with Babish. Thanks guys! Jolly boys! I think that in principle, BetterHelp is a great idea. But in reality - much less so. There have been several exposés about their questionable practices.
If you can afford to break with them, do some research, reach your own conclusions, and if you feel, as many people do, that they're unethical (at best), then make your own choice.
