Seamless planets, a la No Man's Sky. Better writers. Let Obsidian do all the writing. Easily some of the worst sci-fi worldbuilding in a game, nevermind what it doesn't come close to touching in sci-fi literature.
I truly expected that Bethesda game studios would look at the mods that were made for Skyrim and learn some things from them about what the players would like in Starfield. I was really really disappointed in this regard, since it's obvious that they not only don't care about what people want, but they're even cutting down the content down to the bare minimum in favor of procedural generation done poorly as well. Sad to see.
Its like instead of seeing the mods as feedback for what fans wanted, they saw them as free labor and the selling point of the game. Starfield feels like it was made to be a massive platform for space themed mods instead of as an actual game and then had the story and quests added on last minute.
They should have started on making this a "living on your ship with your growing crew" game with most of your time spent inside your ship and actually doing stuff in /space/. Sure you could throw in some planets here and there but it shouldn't have been the main focus.
I was playing ghost recon wildlands the other day. The NPCs ran when i put out my gun, get off the car or just screams. The furniture, the lights, all react. Amazing open world...
Cyberpunk could be fixed and it did. Its problem was not of a bad design, but rather rushed development to meet the set release date by execs. This left many mechanisms of it half-baked and thus the bugs and problems we faced. As soon the dev team took another 2 years to work on it they delivered the masterpiece we all hoped for. Starfield on the other hand suffers from something much deeper. Bad, bad, bad design in all of its subsystems. Only a total rewrite could potentially “fix” Starfield. So, don’t expect a Cyberpunk-like comeback. It’s a lost cause at this point. Sadly…
@@foteinimantzali8691 CP2077 is a great game now but it came out completely broken with a lot of missing things. The game had one good thing, the story, that's it. The amount of work done on animation, AI, wanted system, physics, guns, skill tree, car combat and more is what makes it a good game. Starfield just needs to hide it's loading screen better, improve combat AI and patch some quests with alternative options.
In my opinion it’s not their engine’s fault, as we can see modders can makes their game truly beautiful, from graphics texture, animation even physics in an old engine that Skyrim use. It’s them to blame for this outdated game, their laziness and less creativity. They already working under Microsoft, I believe there’s no lack in financial and human resources, it’s just pure lazy and lack of creativity
For the menus thing, I wish they'd do something like The Division. They have this little circular light on their wrist/backpack that brings up an in-world display with all the buttons and menus you need. Not to mention they are organized neatly and concisely.
There are so many good games on the market that I neither have the time or the inclination to go back to Starfield. So much of the game needs overhauling that I doubt any amount of updates will give people what they were promised. I had enough fun with it but it's time for me to move on.
Yeah, Bethesda gonna stop caring about this game three months after the expansion gets released. The real developers (modders) will take over and fix the game with mods.

What would be a nice game (I think). Big open world (appr. 1 galaxy, 50 star systems, each has 2-15 planets). 2 of these planets are ideally designed with different cities on them (those like in Cyberpunk), others - generated (jusr empty surface like in real life). Have many missions and the main story line of course too. One planet would be a home planet with usual towns including old arhitecture and another would be a colonised planet where everyhthing is futuristic. The world is continuous, so you can reach any part of it using continuous flight. Between these 2 planets would be a wormhole that helps you to reach them faster but you still can reach them on your own (it will take nearly 3 minutes using maximum startship speed). Also starships would use gravital engines, not fuel like in starfield for example. There would be bad gangs that you have to deal with, space fights too. Underwater bases. Near-solar vast station that will transform sun energy to planets and near-planet stations would take it and re-send to on-planet stations that will produce electricity. Those second colonised planet would be in a double-star system and would have giant moon with dust rings (so you'd see 2 stars and giant blue moon on the horizon). PLanets would have different gravity so if you land on a big planet your starship can get broken because it would crash. It would be a beautiful space landscape (spacescape?) of galaxy with different colors when being in an open space not like black background in starfield. Realistic physics
The saddest part is that due to a lack of fundamental content, all efforts that should have been dedicated to creating a AAA story dlc with tons of new content is instead dedicated to trying to force into a broken system a fraction of the content that is lacking.
I held off on Cyberpunk for over a year and finally started playing and its amazing, especially after the 2.0 patch. No mans sky really redeemed itself, and i love that game now. Starfield has hope that Bethesda will redeem it, but i dont know if they actually will, because they know the big cash cow is coming next, the next TES game. Bethesda is not gonna do anything for this game. Bethesda has been awful for a decade now. I didn't even like skyrim. The creation engine needs to be scrapped but they won't do that Red dead 2 is the GOAT

It’s what they are, well sorta…. The code behind them is made in the moment. It saves on game space. They actually had AI make a lot of assets for this game. If you look at where they put most of their vertices, it was in the food. This game could totally run on older systems. But they didn’t want it to. They wanted to sell Xbox’s. It’s about money, not fun
That's what made fallout 4 great, roaming around and discovering cool things. Starfield doesn't seem to have that, walking for miles on planets is the most monotonous for me.

A tip, don't just check Steam numbers as they are often wrong, and mainly cause this ISN'T a steam game, check it's gamepass players, Xbox players, Xbox app for pc, those are its main platforms. How ignorant would it be if I only took bg3's ps5 players into account to say it lost its players.....huh..... oh and an update, helldivers2 ain't even close to Starfield's player count
Give if a few dlc’s then Look again. Most big open world games are 💩 u til they have 6-12 months of dlcs. No man sky is just getting close after what 7-8 years?
How would you even go about making players able to land manually? I've just started starfield and I love it, I haven't found many issues other than leveling being sometimes too slow, ammo for guns you want to use being too expensive, and some planets feeling too empty.
Technically Starfield isn’t an open world game because you can’t actually go from one part to another part without loading in and out of the game so it’s just a bunch of cells and spaces clumped togethor not one large world sort of like the new Jedi games
What would you change in Starfield?

LOL left 4 dead has 10 times better character models than starfield
Maan, its been 7 months the game has been out, still has a player base of 6.5 million active players, no matter how long yall keep hating on it, it aint going nowhere bruh.
Where did you get this info💀
Funny how, every time I've commented the site, it's on, my comments are taken down, it's almost like y'all wanna live in that bubble of lies 😂.
No man sky is just getting close after what 7-8 years?
will do! lets hope it improves
Wow wow wow Freddo's are not shitty chocolate...other than that I agree with almost all of the video 😂
Shitty in size 😂
Bro talk about skull and bones😂😂😂
Stay tuned! Downloading that bad boy right now 😂
How would you even go about making players able to land manually? I've just started starfield and I love it, I haven't found many issues other than leveling being sometimes too slow, ammo for guns you want to use being too expensive, and some planets feeling too empty.
Side quest and main quest waypoints sometimes being glitched.
0:35 KSI 😂
Tetris has better NPC's
this review was really funny
i am first in a channel i have never seen before
That’s cool
Yes the NPC's are hideous!
..
you damn right there
It seems that you are all game developers!😂🙈
because you're on console....
The crazy thing is mods couldn't even save this game
Try transport vehicles in star citizen. Dont bother, you'll always crash die and explode

Why is everybody black as well? Lol
first again :D
💜
Technically Starfield isn’t an open world game because you can’t actually go from one part to another part without loading in and out of the game so it’s just a bunch of cells and spaces clumped togethor not one large world sort of like the new Jedi games
Yes. Still blows
This is the way
Never was terrible.
Star Citizen > Starfield
