The “boring” stuff is the stuff I love most in vlogs. While it’s lovely to see the shiny and exciting things you do, it’s the boring stuff that makes it feel relatable and relaxing to watch ☺️
I met Simon at a restaurant in LA and I just had to go up to his table to greet him and he stood up from his table from eating and took a pic w me he was so charming
Josie, you have grown as a woman so much! Your journey with your garden and seedlings has grow exponentially. All credit to your hard work and thurst for knowlege! Im just so impressed. You, Lydia, and Victoria got me through lockdown and then some. I have a disability and am home every day, so when I listen and watch your vlogs its like talking with a neigbour/ friend or family member. I consider myself rather blessed as I have the very best family, so I am very lucky. I also adore your fashion content, not to mention Charlies "TED" talks. Thank you for continually putting out the very best vlogs.
Josie, it amazes me how hard-working you are. Maybe you can do a video about your productivity tips and motivation while working for yourself and being your own boss.
Dear Josie, I just want to share with you that the cabbages they use in asia (Japan, Taiwan, Korea.... ) are different from the ones in Europe or England, they are softer and cooked much much faster, and there is more space in between the leaves, not so densely layered. So if you feel your okonomiyaki is not quite what you remember, it might be the reason. Unfortunately I don't know how they call these cabbages in english , but in french (I live in france now) they are called "Choudou" and "Chou pointu" (literally soft cabbage and pointed cabbage), maybe you can look their pictures up and see if you can find them in Cotswolds. I left England for a long time so I'm not sure if you can find them in British supermarkets such as M&S or Waitrose, but you can usually find them in asian/Japanese/Korean/Chinese supermarket. It might be a bit daunting to go there because sometimes these shops don't look so nice and welcoming but people there are usually very friendly and willing to help. If you find these cabbages, you can just make a quick stir fry and see how they taste, they are sweeter, if you don't overcook them their texture should be a bit crispy (craquant), and very delicious! As an asian who lives in Europe for years, I know how important these cabbages are at making our dishes, and the differences between cabbages has always been a popular topic among the newcomers🤣
Interesting. I made Japanese cabbage salad with Chuka-Fu dressing the other day and although wasn´t bad at all, I couldn´t really get the cabbage as thin as it should. I noticed the cabbage was super dense, so was difficult to flatten and then chop thinly. Probably also due to my knife skills, but not being to flatten the leaves (in a bunch) was difficult.
Shoutout to Charlie... I LOVE watching Clarkson's Farm channel. We think it is hilarious to watch all the bumbling over farming. It takes a tough career move which would be devastating to others and makes it funny. I especially like the newest episodes with the plights of farmers, government interventions to decrease productivity and innovation, and insensitivity of others.
Catching up after a time in hospital on the mend now 👍 Lovely to see Leonora, you are both the loveliest people x Always remember you are never boring !!! Great seeing Victoria too❤❤❤
Josie your vlogs are never boring. You have such a variety of content which I love. It’s also so great that you’re not insure that you can show your friends. It’s nice to see an influencer who does that and it’s not just 2 people that are on the payroll 😉
Josie, It's so lovely that you are sharing your gardening projects.. quite inspiring while we are waiting for Spring! I'm English and now live here in the Napa Valley, California. Although the English countryside shall always have my heart, It's very green and very beautiful this time of year here. But can you believe, we just had a very rare snow and the vineyards are all dusted white! Hope you will visit this pretty part of the world soon ..! xo ~Nic
Japanese here! I've never seen breadcrumbs added to Okonomiyaki base, but I guess it's a replacement for Tenkasu (crunchy bits of deep fried flour batter). Next time, please add Otafuku Okonomiyaki sauce on top in the end which you can buy at Japan centre in London. It makes the Okonomiyaki 100% better! ❤
Josie We get a germination mixture which is a finer mix and therefore the seeds get better contact with the soil. Also may be good to use a thicker layer vermiculite, I find that I get improved results using this method. Good "seeding"
Great video Josie. And at the end it was so fun to see " Beau" at Daylesford. He is usually so quiet, it was cute to hear him bark. I love to see your friends as well. I follow you and Victoria. You are truly my favs. Because of your videos I ordered and have received a large order here in the States from Holland Cooper just before Christmas, and love the Elemis I have ordered as well. I look forward to your next video! Thank you , as always.
Since you did the top roller, after the comb back,, let it part where it wants to, so it looks natural--i do a quick head shake--then spray the heck out of it. I stopped forcing mine to part exactly a couple of years ago and i look much better, hair-wise.
Microgreens don't need a lot of soil depth. I recommend growing in trays that have good drainage (like a cat litter tray size but not a cat litter tray😁). Easier to sprinkle the seeds evenly. You can usually harvest twice with a nice sharp pair of scissors. Rocket is delicious as a microgreen.
The saying is Be nice to people on your way up as you will meet them on your way down. Josie did you say what month you are getting married? So exciting for you.
The jumper you had on while making your pancakes is so pretty 😍 love that colour Green . Your hair is amazing the curls look stunning after you take them out the silk sausage . The footage at the end Wow so so pretty views beside you are just Breathtaking ❤. How did your washing go with the new detergent ? Did it smell wonderful . Have a Good day tomorrow 🥰
Loved this 🥰 Josie could you maybe do a gardening for beginners vlog? Just moved into a new house and they have some lovely vegetable beds and watching your videos has got me inspired to start my own little kitchen garden but I have no idea where to start 🙈🥕🥦
I am up its 6.36am here in Melbourne, once again, as I have said before Josie, little me loves it , when you take me to London ,I so loved the fabrics, soon going to have our couches reupholstered in a deep burgundy at the moment its a striped olive green with a dark cream fabric the couch and matching arm chairs are Morgan .its time for a change .t coffee time and see the man off to work he always goes into the office on a Wednesday, and you know what that means my Juke Box comes out to Play lol Hugs xo

Josie, do you watch Garden Answer? She is in the USA and does a great job showing how she starts seeds and all garden activities. I think you would enjoy her RUclips site. Laura and her husband, Aaron, have a young family and are establishing a large garden at their home.
Wow this couldnt be more perfect. Currently on the way to Nairobi for my wedding ❤️ can’t wait to show you the photos - the flowers were inspired by my wedding bouquet from your collaboration with Floward. Xxxxx
Just a suggestion, Josie, you want to keep a fan running. It keeps the plants from getting leggy they get stronger and thicker if you have a fan running over them.

Love that you made a healthy version of the Okonomoyaki as it is normally a very rich and heavy street food. You can also add a crunch element, like crunchy noodles for example, if you like that sort of thing! Sprinkle it on top or sandwich it between two pancakes with some sauce. I'm not sure if they have Asian grocery stores like Hmart or Mitsuwa in the UK but you can find many ethnic ingredients at those places for your asian food adventures! Always love and look forward to your videos
The Japanese mayo is very popular here in the States! It's a staple in my house via my son. Kewpie is actually pronounced Q-pea. It's been around since 1925!
