    Paint some small rocks red and place through out the strawberry bed before they start turning red and the birds will peck the rocks and see it is no good and your strawberries will have a better chance,

    I LOVE that this is a small backyard. All videos I watch have their raised beds in the middle of a big yard. Seeing a small space filled out neatly with beds and looking functional and clean is awesome. We are doing Renos and our whole backyard is getting ripped up from the trucks... this is great to envision my own future space.

    I'm jealous of all the berries you can grow, it's too hot here for raspberries. Meyers lemons make the best lemonade. Use one cup juice, one cup sugar and half a gallon of water with ice makes the most refreshing drink. Very exciting watching all your plants grow, it will be cool looking back in a few years and seeing your progress. At least that's what I'm hoping, I started my own gardening channel to see how far I've come. Keep up the awesome content ❤️

      @@theblossomingbloom do you rotate your crops? If not it could help with them!

    • @theblossomingbloom
      @theblossomingbloom  Год назад

      Yes I do, I rotate them in between 3 raised beds since that's all the space I have for them, I keep my herbs in the same spot . It is beneficial to rotate but I think it's not completely necessary, most of us don't have the space for it. I have grown tomatoes in the same spot 2 seasons in a row and they were fine , as long as you keep adding nutrients to the soil like compost, cow manure. But now , if your plants have some kind of disease that is in your soil like Blight it is beneficial to move your plants cause most likely it will keep transferring.
