- Headed back to Naval Base pulling 1200 Ultra Boom. Sorry in advance Jake's may sound a little off, needing a valve adjustment. Hope you guys enjoy, thank you for the support, much more content to come!! 🤟 #Kenworth #CAT #Trucking #Jakebrake #RUclips #Like #Subscribe #HitThatBell
Drove an oddball Western Star with a 410HP C12 in the Army. A lot of them were essentially straight piped. It had an automatic Allison, unfortunately, but it was still a really fun truck to drive. When loaded and going down a grade those jakes really screamed. Occasionally we'd pour a bottle of engine oil into the fuel tanks for a little extra haze out of the pipe - the Army diesel we used was mostly that high test stuff for tanks and when you poured some oil into it, it really chooched. Lol!
Lol yeah that's hilarious. I've never heard doing that too af a little razzle dazzle. Lol thanks for watching!
Right on buddy she sounds mean. Your a damn good driver too!
Geez man awesome bro. little bro is barking loud with that heavy load. C-12 is working!!! NICE
I appreciate the love man! Thanks for watching!
Peace out ...Pleasure riding along with you !!
Thanks for the support!! 🤟🏾
Hey, Y U Lookin Back at Us Gy Dammit, Drive Playa! LOL Another Great Video!
Sounds like it as lots of power, Pulls well.
I love it man, everything working like it's supposed to, this truck is top notch!
Man she sounds good
Man just listen to that Kitty Cat purr! And the jake doesn't sound that bad! Keep these videos coming my friend, I enjoy every second!
I appreciate it man!! Thank you for the support!!
@@TheNappyboy2 I’m happy to be aboard! Hopefully there will be more coming!
@@GarbageSean Definitely!!! Be on the look out.
@@TheNappyboy2 Looking forward to it!!!
Hopefully you've got another video coming very soon! And if not of the straight piped T800, I hope it's another straight piped truck! (if your company has another one, that is...)
Smooth as hell man. You clearly have some seat time in that truck. Kenworth with yellow engines are my favorite to operate.
Yes sir, you know it! Thanks for the support man!
C12 always been a favorite of mine we have 2 T800s a 2004 and a 2002 with the C12 CAT sitting in the yard. I work at a towing and recovery company
Man after Diesel school I was heavily pursuing Heavy Wrecker and Recovery but I was to young. I'd love to come check thoes truck out. That's for the views man, stay safe out there.
@@TheNappyboy2 You can be young to join heavy towing and recovery you need some driving experience and to go learn how to operate, rigging, mechanics, all that shit. I’m only 25 years old man. I got my CDL permit when I was 18 years old. I stayed with a building materials company for a few more years for experience then I left to learn towing and recovery and here I am at 25 with a shit ton of knowledge and could drive a truck like it’s nothing.
@@JacksonGuitarsPlayer03 Exactly, I graduated college when I was 20. A towing and recovery came to my college basically recruiting. I'll be 25 in 24 more days. I was talking to a crane operator today and he said he started off rigging as well. Basically I didn't know what I actually had to do to get into Wrecker/Recovery, I just know I was getting denied left and right. Lol
Excellent work sir. Driving is perfect and the truck sounds awesome but I'd pull over and punch that forklift driver in the head for tailgating
Sweet! Do you own the truck? Or does it belong to your company
I tried owning it but no luck there. It is a company truck. Thanks for watching!
@@TheNappyboy2 alright we’ll wish u luck on finding one! The bad thing is the prices nowadays
@@TheNappyboy2also where u been u haven’t posted in like a year?
music to my ears, awesome video mate
I really appreciate the support!
Nice Content Bro! It sounds strong. What year is it? I'm thinking about buying a 2000 KW T800 sleeper.
I preciate you bro! It's a 2008
🔥🔥🔥💪nice t800
Ok I see you in the T800, at least yours I's working, just cracked my head on my isx. Shit sucks when you have more horsepower then stock with stock internals..
Plus wanna see move videos from what you do... keep up the great work brother..
Woah!!! That's no good, upgrading Horsepower, ALWAYS upgrade internals. Hopefully you're getting put in a better backup than the one my company currently has. My truck is currently down too. Still not getting fixed what needs to be but it failed inspection (no surprise to me) so they're getting fixed what needs to be to pass inspection. 🤦♂️ Whatever happens after that, I have no idea.
I'll definitely start wearing a head cam more like I did in my first video. I just deliver to a lot of places (Job site's, Ship yards, Naval bases) with sensitive material. But where I can I'll definitely try to get more footage on the days I have the GoPro on hand.
@@TheNappyboy2 damn bro, yeah when I got my truck from Richie bro's it was already deleted. So 18 months ago cylinders 3 and 4 let go. So I did an inframe and didn't touch the head. Should've listened to my pops. Well 10 year old truck and 518k miles, I think she did pretty damn good. Yes lesson learned, when she was down first time should've done everything. But damn this shit is alot of 💵💵.
Yeah working with my pops hauling logs and saw dust to paper mill in West Point, VA... not the usual money I make but better then nothing.
Saludos Dios te bendiga. Muy buenos tus videos . Soy un dominicano desde España.
Are you driving a daycab? how did you mount the camera if there's a sleeper there? I have never worked out a good camera angle for truck videos. I've got a sleeper on my truck but I dont know a way to make the camera stay and not be really bumpy. Nice video by the way man, that thing sounds awesome. I used to drive a c12, very capable motor that holds its own against the newer stuff. They sound nice too, even with the factory style stacks they like to sing.
Yes sir, day cab. Mounted on back window. I think for sleepers the best was may always be dash mount.
I appreciate the love man, thanks for watching! 🤘🏾
Fuck must be a heavy load coes that engine sounds like it's working abit going meow down the road 😆😆
Yes sir! This was the second to largest piece they had at the time. Thanks for watching ✊🏾💪🏾
@@TheNappyboy2 what were you transporting?
@@connornutsford4776 it was a JLG manlift - 120
@@TheNappyboy2 was it just the one onboard or can you put more of them on your truck?
@@connornutsford4776 This piece ypu can only fit one. Different ones you could put additional pieces on with it. 40's you could load load 2 at a time if need be.
How much hp and torque was it making? And rear axle ratio? Definitely pulls very well
Shoot man I had tried to find out but they didn't know. And every sticker on the truck was unreadable. Truck has NEVER had any major work including overhaul so I was never able to find out.
love it buddy
I preciate it man! Glad you enjoyed.
@@TheNappyboy2 keep up you video man and your driving is spot on :D
Bro you still have it?
I do not. I had got another job. I was actually in the process of buying it but the guy went back on it so it fell through.
How often you change the oil
Every 15 - 20,000
