The least performed Impromptu from op.90, and in my opinion the greatest.

It's performed less often because this demands finesse and understanding of the form and structure, key relationships, and the extra-musical aspect of the representation of the march of time through life and contemplating mortality. It's very sonata-like and it's a deeper and longer work than any of the others.

Nice, but for me much too romantic.
