I also have the Peak vise. I noticed that you tie with the Jurassic head. Can one purchase the Jurassic head and convert it on a regular Peak vise or does one have to purchase the whole vise?
Gang Unit Sergeant, Martinez Unfortunately, you have to buy a whole new vise. If you tie on bigger hooks a lot though......the Jurassic is the only way to go though, my #1 tool.
Just wandering.... Is there a "different movement" in the marabou ( in the water) if it is palmered like that or is it basically for protection/coverage of the feathers??
Palmered marabou will typically "stand" at a different angle compared to stacked marabou, but technically the movement would be almost exactly the same. I usually don't see the point in palmering a marabou tail, to be honest. When I am going to palmer marabou it will usually be used to envelope materials that are under the palmered marabou.
Check out the video description for my MUST HAVE fly tying tools, fly fishing gear, and video equipment!!
Great tie Brian- awesome pattern from Rich- and nice little rendezvous footage lol.
WOOOO, Another one. Stick it on the OAForums!
Another great tutorial. Love your tying vids, probably my favorites on youtube .
Lee Dzierzanowski Thanks! Always good to hear.
Well done. I really liked the live action in the water footage. Thank you for the video.
Great looking pattern , simple to tie not a lot of materials. Swims nice :-)
Thank you! Cheers!
Gonna have to try that on the Bighorn this November! Thanks BW... always a treat to watch... and nice touch with the trip to Walmart!!
Great work man as always

It'd be nice if you listed all the materials needed somewhere before or after the video but overall I love your channel!
Ethan Myers Check out the video description. All materials and links to where you can buy them are there. 👍
