These 2 are amazing together! The degree of difficulty these guys make look easy is just insane. STEEZY is the album of the year! Chris Turner is a genius & a master of drums.
chris is obviously a monster and my favorite drummer of all tim, but the oceans guitarists plus dan all deserve credit for writing some of the most incredible riffs to his drumming
I wasn t too much into drums but... a video of zackgrooves got recommended to me 6 months ago or something like that and then after some time (2 months ago), youtube decided to recommend him again on my home page, and just like other hobbies i am into rn, i started watching drumers, i started listening to music with drums, whether it was jazz whether it was death core, whether it was groovy metal like this track, (i ll be talking abt it in a minute) i realised that i really really really like drums and if i didn t want my parents to sleep and eventually not be on this planet at one point bcuz if that :))) i would instantly buy drums, even if i had only a snare, bass and one cymbal i d still enjoy it fully. Anyway, one of nik nocturnal's video was recommended to me, which was him REACTING TO YOUR NEW TRACK: BUCHA BOYS and man, at first i didn t really realise what was happening, the only thing i understood and i knew and loved was the phonk at the beginning which transitioned into metal... but i went back to it. Again. Again. AGAIN. AGAIN. and now i love every single one of your tracks. Thank you, and if i once start deumming i ll let you know and i ll always remember you. Now i have to watch a movie so bye :)i m looking forward to hear from you!! Like you didn t realise till now
What I like about this is that even though James has guitar that's one fourth of the price of Dan's quitar, he still sounds compeletely sick. This is proof that it's not gear but hands.
it is indeed at an angle. Thats calls fan-fretting a guitar. Its so you can tune down to super low tunings while still maintaining tension on the higher strings.
