Carwow and autotrader are good, but carfection just takes the cinematics, the camerawork, the dialogue to a whole new level. That RS6 review a few months ago was a masterpiece.

My dream hot hatch right there. The new one is perfect, it actually handles well for a FWD biased AWD chassis, and with drift mode I could still have fun, which is the main reason I drive an M140i.
With a market full of hatchbacks that look exactly the same, this thing is a breath of fresh air. The front end is just like the GT3 car and I love it.

I've had my A45S AMG since April and am loving it. It's fast, practical, fun, and comfortable. Its my perfect daily driver :) and a great car to complement my weekend fun car (991.2 911 GT3 RS) and my motorcycle (Ducati Panigale V4R).
even Mercedes still realize that port injection is much more superior for top-end power rather than direct injection, another fantastic review from Henry....
Bughogus bughogus I ordered it last November - was due to arrive in February, but due to Covid-19, I didn’t get it until mid - June. I understand there are production delays at present, especially for the Plus spec, due to shortage of parts, in particular the panoramic sunroof ,
I was quite surprised when Chris Harris said he was very disappointed with this car, as he felt the handling was too artificial, and there was no feel. Wonder how you feel about it Edit: wow wow, that was practically the polar opposite of what I expected
Remember when Chris Harris said he hated the pre-facelift E63S then about a year later did a review on it again and said he loved it? Remember that? Right.
If you really really like it I’ll probably love it !! Good review, I’ll give it two or three years and see if I can find a low mileage well kept example for under £40k 👍🏻
Fantastic car! Test drove one the other day brutally quick and agree is very similar to an EVO however when really pushing on down a B road you do feel that lard ass 1600kg when anchoring on the brakes on uneven sections which can be a bit unnerving its deceitful as you think It'll be light given it's a hatch! apart from that though it was brilliant and it has so many gadgets etc and good MPG, a perfect car really.
Lovely film yet again @HenryCatchpole. Thank you. Not lovely enough to convince me that this vehicle from the three pronged suppository is worth what they're asking. But lovely nonetheless...
I'm tempted to see what Matt Watson, Henry Catchpole and Rory Reid would be able accomplish together. I know I should have said Chris Harris, but that guy is overcritical and dislikes most cars to the point that he doesn't even give them a chance. The 3 above actually try to enjoy a car before criticising it.
I think this is worth the price you pay. The A35 might be better value, but, the looks, the banana paint job, the sound, and the drift mode thing, makes this the better buy. Carfection road reviews always make you think positive about any car.
I like the large and wide screen that Mercedes is using in their cars for the gauges and navigation but I don’t like how it looks like they put a long tablet on the dashboard. I think it would look nicer if they covered the top edge of it with the dashboard to hide the tablet look.
That's exactly what I was thinking. When Henry started saying that the A45 reminds him of another 4wd turbocharged car with a wing, I was expecting him to say the Delta Integrale.
The old C30 AMG had a similar quality, chassi was firm and loose and the same time. Up to a point perhaps, but at 8/10 pace it could demolish b-roads with zero effort.
Hmmm odd ball choice could be Tesla Model 3 Performance which costs about the same and has similar output and all wheel drive. Or you could get a F80 M3 demo, if your local dealer still has stock, and enjoy the noise of the S55 straight six. Which sounds way way way nicer than the A45.
Amazing review as always! I'm a sucker for the brand new and soon to be discontinued Audi TT RS and I'd love to see your review of that car. I will be test driving this car against the TT RS so I hope I like it as much as you! Both look fantastic in my opinion and are rapidly fast!
