Fantastic video!!! So helpful, thank you! I have a c6 with same supercharger and this video just made things so much clearer to me as I didn’t install myself. Had RPM in DE do the install and they did a great job in case people are curious where to bring their cars. Only have about 100 miles on it so far but was wondering how these items get done from a maintenance standpoint. This video was perfectly on point. Thanks again!
Can you lock the tensioner from the top or do you have to get underneath the car? Would you just have to remove the pipe going to the throttle body for more access? I'm weighing the pros and cons of the A&A kit and the ECS kit and belt swaps are a factor. I don't want a pulley system that's going to be too difficult to belt swap, especially if there are issues to work out in the beginning.
It all seems pretty simple. I'm debating doing H/C/I, long tubes and X pipe on my '02 Z06 versus the A&A. Did you do any other mods beside the blower? I think they use the brass on the dipstick so if you over tighten it the brass threads will strip out before the aluminum supercharger housing. Much easier and cheaper to replace the dip stick.
Stock bottom end, just LS6 valve springs added. 585 rear wheel SAE horsepower is plenty for me and probably plenty for the drivetrain. I think you probably right, rather strip out that plug then the housing!
@@tedcatinosorry I just saw this but I connected mine in the line that goes from my blow off valve and ties to the brake booster. Let me know if you need more or anything further happy to help. I also used a digital gauge rather than mechanical one so I only needed to run a few wires into the car and not the vacuum line itself.
@@Toys4Life I’m in the process of sending it back! Only have 5 miles on it and it has a rattle at idle. Ordered a Ti head unit and waiting to install it
I bought a c5z06 with an aa supercharger kit; the car has no ac belt; do I need to remove the blower or can I sneak the belt off to get the ac belt on?
Depends on what the ambient air temperature is. I would get it tuned to have your fans come on earlier than stock by about 15 to 20°. That's just my opinion.
Just bought a car with the A&A kit that has the V3 charger on it. This had helped a lot. You always have top notch videos.
Appreciate these videos! I just bought a c5 that came with an A&A and I had no idea how to maintain it! Thanks for putting this out!
Glad I could help!

I'm doing the a&a on mine
You're going to have a fun summer driving season, good timing 😁

Can you do a video on how to tie in your boost gauge? Had my charger installed and I’m looking into installing gauges.
Oh Btw, Skol brother!!
Thanks - I will keep it in mind for a future vid idea!
Thanks… you were the final motivation for me to supercharge

You have to remove the blower belt.
