    Gotta be honest, watching you two put in those corners looked a LOT easier that what I watched last week.
    I was on information overload with my eyes rolling back in my head thinking, there is no way I can install this fence.
    Sometimes it's just better to watch.

    You kids are such a blessing to watch!!! All these many years I thought I knew all there was putting up a fence. I had to help put up my first fence when I was 9 and that was many moons and fences ago. But watching these videos has taught me a few tricks I NEVER knew. I know now that the next fence I put up I will be doing them with a few new twist... LOL... I can hardly wait because I know my wife of 46 years is going to tell me that I'm doing the corner post wrong, then I'm going to let her see these videos... LOL... We'll be moving to east Tennessee this spring to start our homestead now that she's finally retiring. I retired back in 2009 and wanted to get out of this COLD Wisconsin winters but she wouldn't leave her job. Well that what I get for marring a lady younger than me... LOL... I'm sure we'll be putting up a few fences... So with much love, you kids be blessed in Jesus name... BBE

    Sam can you explain again the significance of the horseshoe fence nails the way you place them and why? I didn't catch it on your previous video with the pro but I am sure there is something as to why they are placed that way. Thanks, love to see you and your wife and how you are doing with the new place although it really isn't that new its just I have lots to catch up on.

    What is the reason for the staple here 2:27 ? Is it to help keep the cable from digging into the pole over time? I saw this in the "Professional" video but he never explained that, to us anyway. Just curious!😊 I always wondered how corners were constructed on fences like these. Thanks for the hard work to share. God bless You guys.

    • @GreenAcreHomestead
      @GreenAcreHomestead  4 месяца назад

      You're right! It helps keep it from digging into the post and also lets the cable slide to tighten up properly.

    You folks make that look like it's pretty easy, and definitely had good instruction on how to get the job done. Out of curiosity, when was this video filmed? It's been pretty cold and nasty here in NC the last few weeks (well aside from Friday when it was up near 70 after being in the low 30's to mid 40's the previous week or so, and even down in to the teens with a 'real feel' down into the single digits at night).
