But before we rebranded
We picked up the richard hammond method
and desperately tried to be american
When that didn’t work, we straight up stole vw and bmw designers to make the stinger and the Velositor N
They’re pretty cool actually
We also bought Boston dynamics for 880 million dollars
Child labor was cheap we had the money
We also manufacture EVs
And They don’t look that bad
They just look a bit, toastery

I have a Stinger and I have tracked that car more times than I would count. The car at almost 70k miles is still going strong with little or no issue.

As a previous Hyundai sonata owner that was screwed over by the dealership, this is 100% accurate. "America's best warranty! *that doesn't cover anything and will cost you if you waste our precious time*"

Whatever. Hyundai-Kia is now world's 3rd largest automaker. If Toyota doesn't raise their Warranty coverage to match Hyundai-Kia's, Hyundai-Kia will Surpass them and become #1. I doubt it. Toyota's imaginary quality doesn't allow it.
yup, I bringed my car to the dealership cause the inner wheel well were falling. They told me its normal wear. Legit!
normal wear in hyundai's terms also includes the engine blowing up as well, and they aint lying, the engines are built to last any thing upto 30 miles

I have a friend who just recently became a teacher and she drives a Soul. Oddly enough, last summer, her father had to replace the engine because the oil pump went.

At my old school, there were at least 3 Kia Souls in the parking lot, not to mention a handful of Rios and Fortes.
There were 20 teachers in the whole school, and 13 TAs. Then just office staff.
Hyundai-Kia is a prime example of monumental success. It is now world's 3rd largest automaker. Only Toyota and VW are in the way. Both will be run over by Hyundai-Kia soon. Teachers must teach the students of Hyundai-Kia's monumental success for encouragement.

I once got a Kia as a loner. Like 10-12 years ago. It was like a minivan and red....so yeah...very memorable. I was in a rush and drove 160ish on the highway for about 110 kilometers and got a consumption that was higher than my e38 740iA 😆😆😆

As a Genesis G70 owner, this made me laugh. Some of these are so accurate, especially the fuel economy thing. Unless I drive in perfect conditions, I’m almost always getting 1 l/100km worse than what the manufacturer suggests.

Not much to roast about Lexus. Also the fact it's a fancy Toyota, and Acura is a fancy Honda. Infinity is a Nissan and Genesis is Hyundai. Now that I realize... you basically just mentioned all the Luxury versions of the already done brands...

@@michaeldesantis5846 The Toyota video wasn't much of a roast actually. If the manufacturer doesn't have much trash, then it's not going to get roasted much. And you can roast the Luxury brands. Also he does actually show the Genesis model in this video and makes fun of it too. I think he actually showed the Lexus LS400 in the Toyota video because it's one of the most durable and revolutionary cars Toyota has ever made. It's actually called the Toyota Celsior and not Lexus 400 outside the US. As far as I know, all the luxury alt brands don't exist outside the US. They had to do it only in the US because the citizens are such brand snobs that they wouldn't buy a luxury car if it had the brand name of an economy car.

Not gonna happen. This channel is focused on the US market and most likely US-based. Kinda hard to make a video like this without seeing/discussing with people that own the cars.
The USB joke is only applicable to the US market, outside US Kias/Hyundais come by default with an immobilizer which negates that 'hack'.
@@your-mom_was_here It's kinda hard to produce a cheap car with all EU regulations like having CAS (which by itself costs around 2000€ if not more) so seeing an entry level Dacia Logan costing that much is not a surprise. Quality is cheap but acceptable for people that just want a reliable A to B car so calling it a shitbox is a bit of a stretch.
@@LAndrewsChannel I have to agree with you. The fact that Europe makes this kind of regulations makes Dacia a pretty safe car compared to what people say. Yes, is a cheap car, not the fastest, not the strongest and not the safest, but is an alright car that gives you more than enough for non-car enjoyers. Also, the sales numbers speak for themselves about how wanted this car is across Europe.
The mechanic and as a guy who just likes all types of cars honestly, I absolutely love the designs that is coming from Hyundai Kia and Genesis. Genesis is now one of my favorite luxury brands. It's the only luxury brand that is growing year over year , check it out. Genesis gives off sexy vibes. The new sonata and Elantra and Palisades look so good. The Telluride and the k5 is even nicer than whatever coming out of nissan.
BUT ALSO AS A MECHANIC IVE NEVER SEEN MORE GRENADED ENGINES THAN FROM HYUNDAIS AND KIAS. If you need a new engine from Kia orHyundai, youre paying out the ass, you can't even get them they're so back ordered. Kia soul engines have been going bad out the factory dawg. I can't even tell ya how many I've seen in the past 2 years.
God I love those Lil cars tho. Idc if they're npc, I drive the Ford fusion hybrid myself.

Awesome honest commercial. I would love to see you do an honest Mitsubishi or Peugeot commercial. Hyundai Kia still has that same core group of drivers where driving, parking, maintenance, repairs and tire tread are all an afterthought after all these years (just bought one as a project that exhibited all of the above). Now that’s brand affinity.

As the owner of a Veloster I absolutely love, this shit is spot-on accurate.
Though I will say my local Hyundai dealer has been the opposite of what most describe, constantly getting warranty and recall work done for free. Over $5,500 worth of parts alone (not including labor) replaced for free.

Genesis is actually so mad underrated
I actually feel like they are getting over rated and over hyped. To me, it seems like anytime there's news about a genesis product on motor trends ig, the comments are all positive (including on their but ugly ev suv). Now compare that to when motor trend posts about other growing luxury brands (Caddilac, alfa, jag, lucid, gmc, lexus even) and the comments are a mixed bag of support and dissent.
@@KCMrecordings the thing is even Western media outlets actually praise Genesis even, said that they are a breath of fresh air compared to a massively changed Audi, BMW or Mercedes which start coming out with rather too radical and extreme sometimes too egg shaped. Give the credits where it dues
@Bảo Quốc please re read my previous comment. I'm talking about the general consensus people have of genesis, which I feel is over rated. I'm not talking about the journalists themselves. Most reviewers also rate caddys, alfa, etc pretty high compared to the Germans, yet I dont see the same hype by the general consumer about those brands.

I hope the 1.6 gdi is serving you good. I currently have detonation/lspi in my 2013 rio even tho it's got 180k km on the odo after driving it 10k since I owned it.

Veloster N and Stinger honestly end up being super underrated because of the names tied to them. Veloster N is practically a Golf R with different styling, and the Stinger is just a straight up cheaper, more powerful BMW 4 series with more features and comfort. Just look at the dimension statistics, it’s got a larger wheel base yet still has a smaller turn radius and even has more cabin space in every statistic. It’s a more comfortable and better BMW for cheaper
