    Seriously guys Nissan just killed it with the design, it's nicer than VW's , Citroen and peageouts.

    I just started listening - 1 minute in... when the juke was released - there was no competition at all, it was the pioneer of the sub-compact suv class, later others tried to catch up using the same formula, for example like the mentioned c3 aircross.

    That boot size is a major improvement. Gonna be some big competition with the Ford Puma and the very spacious Skoda Kamiq. Hmmm decisions...

    @lm8348 5 лет назад +13

    If I’m being honest, it really doesn’t have great competitors. The VW and Citroen look like clown cars, the Kia and the Seat are a bit too safe, and the new Juke is actually really smart, and angular, much better than the old one.

    The old model is the best...
    Colour choice and age is everything. I have a 19 plate in "Charcoal grey" colouring. Meaning it's the face lift version which is way more attractive than the pre 2014 editions. As well as having more boot space than the original edition.
    The red you cleverly used for this video doesn't do the old model justice.

    I utterly adore my Juke, never thought I would when I first saw it but it completely grew on me. I wouldn't say the interior was lacking though on the old one (although I was very disapointed in 2018 it didn't have android auto), but the new interior is lovveeeellyyy.
    I like the style, but I'll miss my frog eyes.

  • @toddbroeker8683

    Hey! What happened to including the Kia Stonic in the voting?! Not cool, because my vote would be more difficult with the Stonic, but I think I'd still go with the new Juke.
    Also, why isn't the Toyota C-HR included with the comparison or vote? It's the most identical to the Juke than anything else out there! When Toyota came out with it, it was a better-looking solution for someone considering the Juke.
    As far as the new Juke, this is a HUGE improvement over the 1st gen! I really love this styling. Nissan maintained its character, while ironing out the issues it had before with goofy styling and the other short-comings you mentioned. The designers did a fantastic job of keeping the Juke's identity, while modernizing it into a very attractive CUV player. From the front, to the profile and to the rear, it has really attractive lines and an aggressive stance. I applaud the rear quarter styling, where it has the upswept C pillar, so popular today, but then complimented by the sharp, sweeping line along the sides, from the front doors to the taillights. Very nice! Too bad Chevy didn't apply those cues to the new Blazer...it would have made it much more desirable-looking.
    While I'm not in the market for this type of vehicle, if I were, this would be a serious contender!

      Rumor is that it's in the cards come 2020. The Old Juke (discontinued this year) had its spot replaced by Kicks. Versa Note will be discontinued for 2020

    • @willnye9788
      @willnye9788 5 лет назад

      @FitBlondeBrit Tatiayna Absolutely. Then again, the Kicks has 122hp and it is doing just fine for many people. I don't see anything wrong with the 1.0T@117hp because the new Juke is lighter, keeps the sticker price low, better fuel economy, and it's at least a turbo compared to the Kicks' standard 1.6L. I do agree though, it should be offered with the original 1.6T or at least a new hybrid powertrain. However, what that will do to sticker price and fuel economy is another story. Hence why the Kicks was offered...a dirt cheap plain economical subcompact.

    Well done Nissan on improving the Juke! Love the front! (Sportier Hyundai Kona look and is a huge seller out here in America). We got the boring/bland Kicks...hopefully the Juke returns to juke out the competition.

    • @dwe2a
      @dwe2a 5 лет назад

      The Kicks is selling 7,000+ per month and increasing by 500-750 per month. It does need a bigger/better engine

    • @willnye9788
      @willnye9788 5 лет назад

      @@dwe2a Only reason it is selling because it is cheap. If Nissan puts a bigger engine, it will increase the sticker price and diminish the economy. However, the point of the Subcompact segment is to appeal to younger buyers who want a fun unique vehicle...look at Kona, Soul, and CH-R sales. I'm a Juke owner and the Kicks looks like a raised Versa Note with hardly any style to its generic design. Again, it's only selling cause it's a cheap/affordable economy hatchback for Point A to B.

    • @cb5110
      @cb5110 5 лет назад +1

      @@willnye9788 the CH-R is as slow as the kicks, depend where you are, some CH-R uses 1.5 NA engine with 107 HP, the kicks uses 1.6 engine with at least 115 HP, and the kicks got good review in handling, not so sure about the CH-R.

    • @willnye9788
      @willnye9788 5 лет назад

      @@cb5110 Yes it is. The CH-R is also pretty heavy. Out here we get the 2.0L@144hp. It has pretty good handling but it is so underpowered. They're selling though way more than Kicks despite the power output.

    I'm absolutely in love with the new design! I own a 2015 Nissan Juke and I absolutely love it but seeing the 2020 model, I wanna switch cars immediately! Also, the dual color looks great! Not a fan of the dashboard shown, I'd rather have the plastic one (I have cats, so I guess it would be easier to clean their fur after a trip to the vet), but overall I love it!

    I came very close to ordering one of these. I had an issue with the automatic gearbox having an unusual pick up point. I would need to test another auto to make sure they aren't all like that. It's the best car I've driven at night, period. The spread of light is absolutely brilliant. Super light steering at low speeds, a doddle to park. At 6'1, I found I was using the maximum legroom, might even be a littlke too snug for me. I found the footrest position a little uncomfortable. I found myself dangling my foot underneath the brake pedal for more room, so thats probably not the safest thing to do.

      Doubt Europe will get it due to their CO2 Emission regulations. If it were to come to the U.S. we would probably get it at a premium price which would depend on its sales. Many didn't buy the Juke not only cause of its look but the cost was ridiculous for such a small vehicle. Hence why Kicks are selling like hotcakes...dirt cheap boringly styled economy subcompact.

    A huge step forward from before. I like Nissan's new design language. The only design flaw is that two round lights that is a bug collector in summer months. I will go for the VW T-Cross instead. The new Nissan Micra is a superb design inside and out.

  • @RAPIDNISMO
    @RAPIDNISMO 5 лет назад +5

    The juke and qashqai were the world's first cross overs, they kick started the market that's why Nissan Sunderland plant has successfully produced over 1 million Nissan qashqai it is wrong to compare the old juke to the new one as it has a completely different chassis

    • @tropicalstorm339
      @tropicalstorm339 5 лет назад

      World's first crossover? Nissan didn't start making the Juke until 2010 for 2011 model year. Meanwhile, Toyota started making the Rav4 in 1994 for the Japanese and European market and 1995 for the North American market. That's more than a half a century difference in Toyota's favor and yet you think it's Nissan who invented the crossover in the car making world.
      Edit: the Qashqai was first made in 2006 for the Japanese and Australian market under the name Dualis and 2007 for the North American market under the name Rogue.

    • @RAPIDNISMO
      @RAPIDNISMO 5 лет назад +1

      @@tropicalstorm339 the rav 4 is a small suv and there is a definite difference if you ask me, in the Nissan Sunderland plant the qashqai was alwase intended for the UK and export to Europe. The vehicles made in Japan have there complete factory Making thousands of vehicles per day. The same story for the US. I'm mot shure why vehicles gain a different name in the US but a guess that's the market.

Further to that, the Renault Zoe is the second least reliable electric car and the Nissan Leaf is the most reliable electric car. This is based entirely on customer feedback. I was disappointed by the semi-hidden fact that in the VISIA and ACENTA versions the rear brakes of the Nissan JUKE 2020 are of ¡DRUM !!!. For the higher-end TEKNA option, it is only available with 19-inch wheels, the option of choosing 17 ”wheels more suitable for irregular asphalt not being possible. With the N-CONNECTA range, you cannot include the BOSE audio PACK with the speakers in the seats and the PRO PILOT option is not standard. Adding the extras in the N-CONNECTA of metallic paint, bitone with a second color ceiling, PROPILOT, etc ... is more expensive than the TEKNA version immediately superior. FINALLY if I miss that there is no version in 4X4 ,. I have a NISSAN TERRANO 2.7 and it is time to retire now I do not know what to choose because the 4x4 option of the Nissan quasquai does not convince me because of its excessive size, since the NISSAN JUKE lines really fall in love. This thing brought about the nightmare world we now live in. Why anyone buys SUVs and crossovers is beyond me. Sure, I'll buy and lumpy, unwieldy thing that has awful residual values.

    This is a really successful reimagination. However, I'd stick with my new DS3 Crossback.
