Barely any buildup really, some from Loki and some from quantumania which for some reason was universally panned. Not a huge pivot IMHO.
These guys are so good at Avengers movies that they made a Captain America film that was better than at least one of the official Avengers series. All Disney has to do is pay the money and keep their meddling hands out of the Russo's process.

I'm good on their return. I mean from a certain point of view I could see how people are like "oh Feige is crawling back to the Russo's" but the Russo's aren't exactly popping off on their own. Personally, I loved what the Russos did but Endgame ruined everything. Rewatching that many times made me realize how convoluted the movie is. I would rather we get someone like Levy or Raimi just cuz they have a little more flair than the Russos.

He didn’t carry anything. Respectfully he was in one movie, which fans largely did not vibe with even if he did do a good job, and one season and an episode of a TV show with fans largely hating Victor Timely. Act like he carried anything.

Kang wasn’t lame the writers they chose and the plan they had for him just sucked. But I always thought the character was cool in the comics. I love doom and the xmen but I just don’t want them to rush doom in when he should be established first and then if you wanna make him the big bad I’m cool with that, but I’m down to see where this all goes considering the last five years of marvel has been terrible
I’m not sure I believe this. But to get the Russo brothers back, they will need to be paid a FORTUNE and given absolutely anything they want. But it would be completely and totally worth it. They are the only ones that can turn this mess around. And maybe bring back Marcus and McFeely to write.

Still can't do Avengers without the real Avengers, Marvel doesn't have those characters active Iron Man dead, Captain America aged and replaced by DEI character whose movie likely will bomb. Tons of newer characters that no obe really cares about. And the only character they got that can make successful movies is Spider-man but his rights are with Sony and they made several Spiderverse bombs already, and seems they got problems with the actor as well that demand good scripts 😅 who will be in the Avengers?! The hulk? THOR that they destroyed with that last movie ... maybe Deadpool...
Shang-Chi is underrated tho and one of the very few newcomers that can fit with the avengers imo, problem is, marvel has been kicking their feet with that IP and mostly focusing on more unlikable characters instead..
