Just bought one on Amazon and somehow I had a $40 promo code that came out of nowhere. It may have been from the Capital One card deal. It dropped my final price WITH tax to $98.41. I can't wait to get it. Your video helped me to hit the buy button finally!
Glad to help and I hope you enjoy your new jumper starter. It’s one of those items that you really don’t unappreciated until the day you really need it or you get a chance to help a complete stranger that is stranded in some parking lot. Thank you for the great feedback.
Thanks. However, I have seen and read enough and decided to go with the NOCO series. As soon as I saw the same size cables between the 3000 and 6000 models as well as similar weight/size units, that was enough for me. I realize NOCO sells their 250 series for over $1000. There is a reason for that. I seriously doubt you are getting 6000A jumper unit for a little over $100! Thanks for your help sir.
Purchase this for over $200. Not too long ago and then I watched this add. A jump start my Nissan 2008 just fine but my international box truck 4700. It's been sitting since 2011. New batteries in it before it sat. I live in Illinois so of course it has been through a few Winters. It did nothing and it was on a full charge battery pack. After reading some of these comments, I think I'm going to look into the NOCO GB 250. I'll pay the extra money for a good battery pack and just keep this one in my Nissan.
You should do if it’s your to avoid warranty and open the units 3000/6000 to see the cells printed mah and how many of them are inside as I open many and they are lipo cells cut have different ratings in the actual cells 🤣 and your right the 6000 jumper lead cable should be way bigger thicker as more current is passing hmm that makes me think something fishing in $ is going on
Do you think the cigarette light converter adaptor is able to power up a 16-20PSI SUP (stand-up paddle board) pump to pump up several paddleboards? How many Mah battery does this pack?
Fake specifications. It is advertised as 6000 amps. I understand that is "peak" output, which is meaningless. Lets compare MEANINGFUL data. It claims to be 240 watt hours. The NOCO GB250+ is rated 242 watt hours, so you would expect them to be similar in size, right? Weird that the NOCO 250 weighs 14.7 pounds, but the 600A Avapow weighs less than 2.75 pounds. The NOCO 250+ has half-inch thick cables. The skinny wires on the Avapow would melt at 6000 amps. Give me a break. The 99.2 watt hour GOOLOO GT4000 weighs 2.43 pounds. More power means more batteries, which is more weight. There is absolutely no way the Avapow is the battery it claims.
100% agree my gooloo 4000 out performs this and to get steady power the until shuts off after 5 minutes I’m returning this before my 30 days are up 👎🏽👎🏽
I read some reviews on this people were saying it's not really over 30,000 other then what are your thoughts on the Avapow a7 variants ? I like that they have a ip rating even if it's less powerful has more feature wise
@@RANDOMFIX yes which I shall never buy once because of it haha unless they add a force start function because it can not start a dead battery at all . I ended up getting a yesper armour because of that functionality
@@dragonslayer8901 But I bought one. Mine has a Force start button.. I haven’t used it yet because my cats batteries haven’t died.. But eager to try it on Someone’s car Lol.
Thanks for the demo highly appreciated. About capacity, I have the 4000A (LOL!) version , it charges in 4 hours from zero at 3A aka 12000mAh vs factory stated 27800mAh and it charges my phone fully only twice. These numbers are completely made up, nothing new but still disappointing.
I have the 3000A noco boost pro gb150 , that takes 15 minutes to charge, and you can turn about 10 cars with dead battery on. Going for 5 years and I haven’t had any problems.I use it daily for towing cars from auctions.
He showed that the boost mode was automatic when you plug the jumper cables in. Also, after he overloaded the system, he had to unplug the cables, wait a few seconds, and plug them back in. He didn't explain that very well. I'm no expert, either, but that's what I saw.
This product failed me when I needed it the most. It was only consistently effective, jump starting my son's motorcycle. When it comes to cars and or SUV it's a fail. I ultimately had to buy Gulu 3000 GT jump starter.
STOP SAYING "SO" AND "HERE"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WE KNOW IT'S "HERE"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
32000mAh sounds too good to be true. Interestingly the manual doesn’t mention capacity, but the charge time is 5V/3A 6H good enough to charge up to 24000mAh battery (in reality much less because of charging efficiency; 5V*3A*6H/3.7V=24.3Ah). It does not look right, so I decided to test this battery on Rigol DL3021A. The results are inline with the change time: 74.241wh / 3.7v (Lithium-ion nominal voltage) = 20Ah or 20000mAh. The other way to calculate capacity is to convert 5051mAh @14.8v to 3.7v (Lithium-ion nominal voltage), or simply multiply by a number of cells: 5051mAh*4.
@@RANDOMFIX It is very interesting whether a person said the truth or not about the battery capacity. I can't find correct information anywhere. I work in a motorcycle shop and I often have to use a jamp starter, please tell me the 3000a version will be enough or should I still buy 6000a so that there is a power reserve?
For a motorcycle I think the 3000 amp version is good enough, personally I like the 6000 amp version better however. This unit over states it's power by a bite. If you need a hard hitter loo ruclips.net/video/Mjeki8yP8wQ/видео.html This is what I carry in my diesel but it's good no reverse polarity so it's little dangerous. Are all motorcycles 12 volts because I thought they were 6 volts? Sorry never jump a motorcycle before.
The AVAPOW is a piece of junk. Only 1 month old. Does not power ON. It's fully CHARGED. None of the outputs work. Garbage.....simply garbage. DO NOT BUY.
Because there is no point in pretend, the load tester is a much better test than a fake crank. Plus how do know how dead that battery is or maybe the starter solenoid is toast so what would be the point? Thanks for your feedback and let me know if that makes sense to you. Have a good day.
@@RANDOMFIX the point is to see if it can turn over a big engine when the battery dies. Forget the starter and load tester. Can it turn an engine? That's the whole point of a jumper pack. What I did for my battery pack video is I disconnected the battery completely and hooked up the jumper pack directly to the terminals with no battery and it was able to spin the engine quickly on a 5.7L V8. That's what we want to see. Not a load tester
Even a crapping lead acid battery will assist the vehicle to start the vehicle. So yes it crank a motor but can it do it on its own power? That's why I just the load tester.
@@RANDOMFIX to test it on its own power you remove the terminals from the car's battery and hook the jump pack up directly to the terminals which eliminates the car's battery completely. I don't know why this is so hard for you to understand. I'm explaining it as simple as it can be broken down

The problem with not having a manual boost is that if the battery is to dead this product will not detect it. Therefore it will not boost it.
